It was a warm Spring evening, and Sebastian was on his way to see Alyson. He hadn't seen her much the last couple weeks because she'd been studying like crazy for finals, and when she wasn't studying she was writing papers and being an overall bitch from the stress, but he was used to his little blond being a bitch. She always had been, and it was one of the things he found charming about her. Except when it pissed him off. Then the charm was gone.
Finals were over now, though. She'd had her last one that afternoon, and Sebastian knew she would be sleeping after, so he didn't bother with his ring, deciding to turn to stone for the day so he could be well rested for his evening with her. Aly seemed excited for him to come over, too, and Sebastian was, oddly, in a pretty good mood. When he saw the woman selling chocolates, he didn't scoff and keep going like he normally would do, but instead stopped to get the girl some chocolates instead. His filthy mind filled with all the fun things he could do with those candies and the curly haired girl he intended to feed them to. He bought a small bag from the vendor, a pleasant looking woman in her early forties with a kind smile. He didn't care about her spiel, buying the candy and being on his way.
Sebastian wasn't much of a chocolate guy, but the smell was overwhelming. Chocolates never smelled this good.. Curiously he opened the bag and pulled one out, examining it. It had an inviting smell to it and he took a small nibble. It was delicious, even for chocolate. Surprised at the taste he finished the morsel and then continued up to the girls apartment. He made it all the way to her floor before he felt too dizzy to continue. Sebastian stopped almost outside of Aly's door, but before he could knock he leaned back on the wall across from her apartment. He slid down to the ground and not a second later, blacked out against the wall.
There was a light knocking on a door which aroused Sebastian, who was asleep at a desk. The man lifted his head, looking around to find himself in an office that he was unfamiliar with. There was a knock again at the door, but this time the young woman on the other end didn't wait for an answer before coming in. Sebastian recognized her immediately as the woman who had saved him from Robert Snow's clutches so many months ago. Cadence Higgins.
”I have the files you requested, sir.” She said coming closer and dropping the manilla envelopes on his desk. There was a coy sort of look on her face as she studied Sebastian, then she took a seat across from his desk, leaning back and crossing her legs. The office was a large one with a leather couch in the back, a computer gracing the large, solid dark wood desk. File drawers graced one wall, and a name plate on the desk said his name in bold, white letters against a black background.
“Your sister called a half hour ago and said she would be here at eleven to pick you up. Your suit was just dropped off and is hanging by my desk. Do you require anything else?” She asked, raising a brow and letting her long legs unfold, sliding them open as her jade eyes fell on his, making it clear she was at his ready and at his disposal.

The last thing Sebastian remembered doing was climbing up the stairs to Alyson's place. At least that's what he thought he remembered doing. When he opened his eyes he wasn't in the stairwell but in an office seated behind a desk. He heard knocking. That was what woke him up in the first place. Sebastian squinted, scrunching up his nose as he tried to wake up. The knocking ceased and the door was opening before he could even speak. In came Cadence Higgins, a fellow gargoyle who had saved his hide a while ago.
"I have the files you requested, sir." What the hell was this crazy bitch talking about? He watched her come closer and drop the envelopes down on the desk before taking a seat and crossing her legs. He eyed the envelopes like they contained something dangerous. But his curiosity got the best of him and he reached for the one on the top and opened it up so see just what was inside.
"Your sister called a half hour ago and said she would be here at eleven to pick you up. Your suit was just dropped off and is hanging by my desk. Do you require anything else?" His focus went back to Cadence, watching her with his cold grey eyes in silence as he tried to piece together what was going on. The nameplate on the desk had his name on it. These files were meant for him and from the looks of it Cadence was his assistant. Did he somehow switch roles with Robert Snow?
"Don't you usually assist Robert? Or is this some twisted little fantasy of yours?" He had a feeling this was all Cadence's doing. She was to blame for him sitting here like he had some important job. But Sebastian behind a desk? That just wasn't him unless it was to fulfill someone else's fantasy. "All you had to do was ask.." he teased with a playful smirk. "Although I don't know how my sister fits into this."

"Don't you usually assist Robert? Or is this some twisted little fantasy of yours?" Cade cocked a brow at him. Twisted fantasy? Robert Snow was in prison below City Hall where he belonged. Why would she be serving him anymore? "All you had to do was ask.." his tone was teasing and his smirk playful as it always was. In the beginning she found his "charm" more than a little obnoxious, but she had come to expect it now and at times she even liked it. Still, she was flustered with the Robert comment. He'd killed her brother and she'd finally collected enough proof against him. Sebastian had helped her manipulate some of the evidence to get him safely behind bars, and in return she had helped his political career. Now she served him faithfully.
"Although I don't know how my sister fits into this." Neither did Cadence. "Your sister is picking you up, I'm not sure where fantasies play into that, sir. Tonight's your parent's anniversary dinner, or did you forget. Again." It was her turn to be coy, and though she didn't smile, there was a glint in her eye. Cadence got up and moved around the desk, leaning her ass against it and crossing her ankles as she stood next to the handsome man with cold eyes who had, in so many ways, become her partner even if he was, technically, her superior at work.
"But if you wanted to play out fantasies instead and be late, I'm certain I could assist you." Her head cocked gently to the side as she pushed off the desk, raching for his tie in an attempt to loosen it and maybe slip it off, among other things..

"Your sister is picking you up, I'm not sure where fantasies play into that, sir. Tonight's your parent's anniversary dinner, or did you forget. Again." Sebastian dropped the manila envelope on the desk and stared at Cadence like she just sprouted a second head or something. He watched her glide around the desk like the vixen she was. He couldn't deny that she was a sexy little thing and though she just gave him very fascinating news it didn't stop him from thinking with his dick.
"But if you wanted to play out fantasies instead and be late, I'm certain I could assist you." When Cadence started to loosen his tie he considered just sitting there and seeing how far she would go but he had to get ready. He had to go out to dinner with his ... parents. He still didn't believe the news. It had to be some sick game that she was playing.
Sebastian pushed himself out of the chair and stuck his arm out like a barrier, moving Cadence out of his way so that he could loosen up his tie on his own. "Idiot girl," he muttered and shot her a look that said that he didn't enjoy her toying with him. "Just fetch me the suit. If my sister told you that we had to go to dinner with our parents then she was mistaken. But I'll go along with it just to see what she wants. There is no anniversary dinner unless it's to celebrate their deaths." He didn't bother to undo the tie but instead just pulled the loose loop over his head and tossed it on the desk. He looked over at Cadence impatiently. If he was her boss then he was going to take advantage of it. "Well? What are you waiting for, an open invitation? Get the suit." He snarled and started undoing the top buttons of his shirt.

Cadence was a little surprised when Sebastian pushed her out of the way. He had denied her advances before, but she knew how much he was dreading this supper and how tense he would probably be. His parents weren't his favorite people, and there was a decent chance he would call her over later that evening to help relieve some stress. "Idiot girl," he muttered while shooting her a dirty look that got him one in return. She didn't care for him to refer to her as an idiot considering she's the one that helped clear the way for him to even move up into this spot. It was she who manipulated things to help push him into the spot he was in and she expected a little more respect out of him.
"Just fetch me the suit. If my sister told you that we had to go to dinner with our parents then she was mistaken. But I'll go along with it just to see what she wants. There is no anniversary dinner unless it's to celebrate their deaths." The comment was a strange one that not only confused her, but made her a little uneasy. Why would it be the anniversary of their deaths? Was it his intention to kill them off this evening? Cadence had never been a fan of the Davenports, but even she knew that killing them off wouldn't be favorable. Especially for herself. Sebastian couldn't pull of a double murder even if he wanted to, and she needed to be close to those in power in order to keep her own agenda afloat.
"Well? What are you waiting for, an open invitation? Get the suit." He snarled as he began to undress. Flustered and angry and all but stormed from the room, slamming the door shut behind her. She took her sweet time collecting his clean, white suit and the parcel she'd had to pick up and have wrapped before bringing it to him, letting him know she wasn't some pathetic little puppy dog for him to bark orders at. "Your suit." Her tone was stiff as she laid the fine clothing out, not the normal cool she usually took up with him. At this point she wasn't interested in him getting into her pants, and would likely play hard to get, pissed with his treatment. "And the gift you requested for your parents." Her tone was cold and she took a step back. "Now if you have no further business with me I'll return to my own work. Sir." the bitter edge was clear in her tone, but she didn't leave until dismissed.

Sebastian waited until Cadence left the office to take off his shirt and toss it into one of the chairs, stretching his arms over his head while he walked around the office looking at everything inside. Maybe there was something that could help him figure out what was happening to him. How did he go from Alyson's staircase to an office that belonged to him. Nothing made sense and nothing popped out at him either.
Cadence was entering the room once more with the suit that she'd gotten for him to wear that night. "Your suit." He looked down at the suit that she'd set down for him. It was white. Sebastian didn't do white. White showed everything and with Sebastian it was easy for him to get dirty. "And the gift you requested for your parents." He eyed her and then the object that was wrapped up. "Now if you have no further business with me I'll return to my own work. Sir." "Call my sister and tell her I'll be ready in twenty minutes." That was the last request he was going to need Cadence's assistance with.
Sebastian wanted to get dressed quickly, pulling on the new shirt and switching out his pants with the pressed white ones. Nobody could deny that he was going to look like a sexy beast in the white suit. Once he was dressed he poked his head out of the office, wanting to find a bathroom or something that he could see his reflection in so he could make sure his hair wasn't a mess. Anyone could tell that Sebastian was a vain person.
He found a way to waste fifteen minutes between getting dressed and checking himself out (he made white look good). When he was finally ready to go he popped out of the office with the 'gift' in hand and headed over to Cadence's desk where he seated himself on the edge and watched her. "So what did I buy anyway?" He held the present in both hands and shook it close to his ear. "Is Prestine almost here?"

"Call my sister and tell her I'll be ready in twenty minutes.". Cadence offered a stiff nod before leaving th office, more than a little annoyed. Sebastian had a tendency to be hot and cold, but not usually like this. He wasn't typically so rude. Cadence decided she wouldn't let it get t her, though. He would be leaving soon and she would be allowed to leave early in turn. She sat at her desk and called Prestine to let her know her brother was ready. Cadence hated dealing with her bosses sister. She was snotty and annoyin and it was hard to respect suh a pathetic, psychotic woman. She made the conersation as brief as possible and was glad when Prestine said she would be there as soon as seh could.
Twenty minutes or so passed when Sebastian made his way towards her desk. She didn't bother to look at him, not caring to see how handsome he looked in the white suit. He was an attractive man, and she knew he looked amazing in that suit before she even saw it. "So what did I buy anyway?" she could hear him shaing the box and it was all she could do not to roll her jade eyes at him. "Is Prestine almost here?" with her eyes still cast down focused on her work, she opened her mouth to speak. "You got them a bottle of aged scotch from the year they were married." She told him and finally looked up. "And I have no idea where your sister is." She wanted to add more, tell him to call her him damn self, but bit her tongue assh always did.
As if Prestine could read their minds, Cadences phone rang. "Cadence Higgins speaking." She greeted in her typical cool, cradling the phone against her ear. Prestine barked that she had arrived and then hung up. With her jaw set tightly, Cadence hung up the phone and looked at Sebstian. "She's downstairs. Enjoy your supper." The mild edge in her tone said she hoped he would not, despite her wishes for him to.
Downstairs Sebastian would find a town car, a driver in the drivers seat with a crisp suit and hat and his twin sister in the back. Prestine wore a deep red dress, almost the color of blood. Her long dark hair was wavy as it climbed down her back, red lipstick gracing her lips. She looked elegant and tense as she waited for her brother.

”You got them a bottle of aged scotch from the year they were married.” That was such a sentimental gift.. nothing like him. Maybe he bought it so that he could drink it at this dinner that he was going to. But gift wrapping it for himself didn’t make sense. Not that waking up in an office made sense either but he was just going to roll with it for now.. if it got out of hand then he’d just go do his own thing like he usually did. He didn’t know what twisted game his sister was playing but he’d tag along. This was definitely a whole new level of crazy even for Prestine.
He’d all but ignored Cadence, giving her the cold shoulder as he’d gotten dressed and barked orders at her.. but clearly she was just a pawn in this weird fantasy so he decided that maybe he ought to treat her a little better. After all she had saved him from Robert while the city went to shit. ”Cadence Higgins speaking.” He’d been so wrapped up in his own thoughts that he didn’t even bother to listen to anything she might have said after telling him that he’d gotten scotch up until she was speaking into her phone. He hadn’t even heard it ring. ”She’s downstairs. Enjoy your supper.” He could tell she was giving him the cold shoulder so he reached behind her to lean against the back of her chair so that he was hovering over her. “If I apologized for being such an idiot would that help?” He offered in a silky tone and gently reaching for her chin to try and turn her head to look at him. It was always easier to get them to forgive him if they were looking into his eyes.
“I have a dinner date with my sister but I’m free after..” Sebastian trailed off to let her come up with her own ideas for what they could do after dinner. Not that he’d keep any plans he might make with her. He’d stand her up and either go home or over to Alyson’s to tell her about his sister and her newest roleplaying fantasies. Knowing her she’d probably have some ‘kitten’ named Ricardo there to act as their father and some hopeless little flower to portray their mother. It was sick, even for his taste.

Cadence had no choice but to look up at Sebastian as he leaned in, his face close to hers. He didn't try to make his affair with her quiet, unlike Robert who had been discreet about using her when she'd been under him. "If I apologized for being such an idiot would that help?" His tone was sweet, like overripe fruit on the verge of spoiling. His fingers grabbed her chin lightly, forcing her to stare up more into his face. Cadence squirmed lightly in her chair, knowing she couldn't deny him for long. "Perhaps." She said coolly, not entirely sure it would.
"I have a dinner date with my sister but I'm free after.." She knew his schedule better than he did, but she couldn't help wanting his evening plans to be with her. She hated how much she liked him. "I won't hold my breath, sir." She offered in a terse, but mildly seductive voice, basically telling him that she wouldn't object to him meeting up with her, but she wouldn't wait for him either.
There was an impatient car honking in the distance, and Cadence knew who it was. "Best not to keep Ms. Davenport waiting. You know her temper." She taunted lightly, her fingers coming up to neaten the lapel on his suit, moving gently over his neckline and then straightening his tie. "If you come over tonight, keep this on." She said softly, tightening his tie. The horn honked again and Cadence pulled her hands away, frustrated with Prestine's impatience.

From the sound of it Cadence wasn’t fully satisfied with his apology but she wasn’t telling him to go fuck off either. She was tough, like Alyson, but in the end she’d fall for his little lies and empty promises just as Alyson had. ”Best not to keep Ms. Davenport waiting. You know her temper.” He’d make his sister wait as long as he wished. It was always fun finding Prestine in a fit since it was usually Sebastian who had the temper. ”If you come over tonight, keep this on.” Cadence spoke as she straightened his tie and a sly smile creeped its way onto his face as he leaned in closer, hovering his face just over hers as if he was going to kiss her but at the last minute changed his mind. “Done,” he said just above a whisper before pulling away. He be wearing his white suit because it did make him look good, but he wasn’t going to wear it over to see Cadence after dinner. He was going to go surprise Alyson in it. He figured she’d get a kick out of it and make some snide remark to mask how hot the sight of him got her. Sebastian stood upright, ran his hands down his chest to flatten out his coat and shirt before picking up the parcelled gift. “I’ll see you later. After, perhaps.” He winked at the girl and then he was off.
It took a bit of time for him to figure out exactly how to leave the damn building. The Exit signs didn’t make sense to him and it had been too long since he’d been able to walk out of it on his own two legs. But he managed to do it without stopping for help and when he finally strolled out he saw the town car that was waiting for him. He opened up the back door and climbed in beside his sister who instead of wearing some strange little sex outfit was dressed nicely in red. Red had always been her best color. “So what sick game do you have planned for us tonight that requires an ‘anniversary’ gift for our dear parents?” He asked without bothering to greet her first. “This is strange even for you, sister.”

Prestine was getting annoyed with her brother. He had the gall to have his stupid assistant call and rush her, and then he's not even ready when she gets there. Typical Sebastian! She tried not to think about her frustration as she heard the door open, feeling the car move as he sat down, weighing his side down. "So what sick game do you have planned for us tonight that requires an "anniversary" gift for our dear parents?" Prestine cocked a brow at him, not sure what he was talking about. "What?" She asked, confused. "This is strange even for you, sister."
Sebastian had a knack for saying things to drive her off the deep end. He'd always been an ass hat, though in the past she had always been semi good at dealing with him. It was a simple matter of freaking the fuck out or playing it cool. "What the hell are you talking about?" She snapped, not in the mood for his shit tonight. "You know what? I don't care. Know why? Because I'm not letting you ruin another anniversary dinner with you bullshit. I still haven't forgiven you for showing them those pictures, you little shit." She snapped, the car moving as they sped off towards their parents house.

Sebastian expected Prestine to pat his knee and tell him something of the likes of ‘tut tut brother, you wouldn’t want to spoil the surprise..’ or some other sort of crap. But that wasn’t what was waiting for him in that town car. ”What the hell are you talking about? You know what? I don’t care. Know why? Because I’m not letting you ruin another anniversary dinner with your bullshit. I still haven’t forgiven you for showing them those pictures, you little shit.” “..........” Sebastian stared at his sister with a blank look while he tried to figure out what was actually wrong with her. She wasn’t her usual psychotic self. Prestine was acting like a normal bitch woman and that threw Sebastian through a loop.
“Who are you and what have you done with my sister?” He asked coolly, narrowing his eyes at her and wondering just what she was talking about. What pictures? “And ‘little’ is not a word I would have chose,” he smirked even though he was given her a look that showed he wasn’t buying this little attitude that she had going on. “Now where are we headed? You may have told Cadence that we had an anniversary to celebrate. I know for certain that it isn’t one for mother and father dearest. You don’t have anniversaries for the deceased.” Where were they really going? He looked toward the man who was driving the car only seeing the back of his head. He didn’t look like one of Prestine’s usual playthings. For one thing he looked to be American. “I’m surprised to see you out without one of your little pets.”

The car pulled away, bringing them towards their destination. "Who are you and what have you done with my sister?" She shot him an annoyed look and then rolled her eyes before looking out the window again. She wasn't in the mood for her brothers shit tonight, especially when it made no sense. "And "little" is not a word I would have chose," He added softly, and withou missing a beat Prestine corrected hersef. "My apologies, Sebastian. Big shit."[/b]
She turned and saw the parcel in his lap, glad that his little secretary at least had brains enough to supply him with a gift, since she knew Bastian didn't have the smarts to. Hopefully she chose something suitable. "Now where are we headed? You may have told Cadence that we had an anniversary to celebrate. I know for certain that it isn't one for mother and father dearest.". Her attention was on him again, not sure what he was blabbering about now. Wat was up wih him? He was usually a prick, but this wasn't normal Sebastian prick.. "You don't have anniversaries for the deceased."
A chill ran down Prestine's spine at his words. Deceased? Why would he say somthing so awful! They were old, but certainly not dead! "I'm surprised to see you out without one of your little pets." another verbal slap in the face and this time she flinched. Father had put a stop to her promiscuous behavior years ago, her little stay in the mental hospital intended for her kind saw to that completely. She took a steady cocktail of drugs to keep her in her right mind these days, and she'd been threatend repeatedly to keep her nose clean for the sake of her brothers career.
Angry and hurt, Prestine drew her hand back and slapped her brother hard across the face, her own stone cold as her chilly, pale eyes shot daggers into Sebastian's identical ones. "Don't think you can talk to me any way you please now that you have power. I know the skeletons in your closet and I swear on both our lives I will reveal them and accept the repercussions. Back off, Sebstian." It was a growl of a threat, one she hoped would finally shut him up as they sped towards the home they had grown up in, the one Sebastian lived in in his alter universe, only in this world it was occupied by the original Davenports.

The slap that Prestine delivered came as a surprise to Sebastian. He couldn’t mask his shock that she would strike him for stating the obvious. He also couldn’t deny that his cheek was stinging.. it had been a while since he’d been properly smacked. Alyson hit like a girl but Prestine.. it was like getting slapped with an encyclopedia because of her supernatural strength. ”Don’t think you can talk to me any way you please now that you have power. I know the skeletons in your closet and I swear on both our lives I will reveal them and accept the repercussions. Back off, Sebastian.” The male Davenport stared in silence. There were no words to describe how caught off guard he was that his sister seemed so normal. He didn’t find her normal bitch act amusing.
“I leave you alone for a few weeks and I’m greeted with this? What the hell is wrong with you?” He snapped back with almost the same amount of aggression that she had. Fights between the Davenport siblings had always been brutal and a little sadistic. For the sake of the driver, hopefully this wouldn’t be one of those times. “I don’t have time for your childish games. You can go about them on your own. I’ll take my booze and drink it at Alyson’s.” He was getting ready to lean forward and tell the driver to stop the car and let him out when he watched they crossed Pine Ave, heading straight toward a residential building he knew too well.
“Where the hell are we going?” He snarled, turning on his sister as his temper flared. He didn’t want to go to their old home. Unless they were just driving past but there wasn’t much else the way they were traveling. Certainly not anything that would interest Prestine, it was all in the opposite direction. If her idea of an anniversary was going to their abandoned home then it didn’t sound entertaining at all. “Turn the car around, Prestine. There’s no need to go there.”

"I leave you alone for a few weeks and I'm greeted with this? What the hell is wrong with you?" He snapped, and all she could do was roll her eyes and huff at the window. Whatever game he was playing, she wasn't interested in joining in. He was an idiot and she was above this now. "I don't have time for your childish games. You can go about them on your own. I'll take my booze and drink it at Alyson's." she had no idea who Alyson was, and she didn't really give a shit, but if he planned on skipping out then she would have some choice words for him first.
The car approached their parents building and Sebastia leaned forward, though Prestine wasn't really watching him. "Where the hell are we going?" He snarled as if they hadn't planned this for a month already. "Turn the car around, Prestine. There's no need to go there.". Prestine grit her teeth and silenly counted in her mind, attempting to alm down before she flipped the fuck out. Her meds weren't strong enough to prevent a full fledged freak out.
"You know what? If you don't want to come, then don't. I thought for once in your life you could maybe attempt to no be such a selfish, entitled pain in the as, but I was clearly mistaken." The car pulled to a stop and the driver pushed the car into park, gettin out and moving towards Prestine's door. "Ask the driver to take you home if you want, or to your little sluts house. Don't care, but dn't expect me to make excuses for you, because I won't. Not anymore." The driver had opened her door and took her hand, helping her out of the vehicle, leaving Sebastian to decide if he wanted to tag along or not.
