Griffin nodded when Flynn agreed it was a good idea. It was simple and easy; that made it good. "The only time he doesn't keep it on him is when he's in his office. He puts it in a drawer in his desk. I can probably snatch it when he's not looking. It would be sort of hard but.. I think I can pull it off." Griffin didn't like the sound of that. "That's very risky, Claire. I don't know if that's such a good idea." He said skeptically. He didn't want to endanger her job. She could not only be fired, but also charged with theft or conspiracy if they succeeded and it got linked back to her that day. He couldn't bear the thought of Claire not working there because of him! He would never be able to return.
"Thebanquet is by invitation only isn't it? Are we going to be able to get in?" Griffin pursed his lips at Flynn's question, not having another chance to voice his opinion about the whole Claire getting the key business. "This banquet is going to be catered. We can get you a uniform and you can pose as one of the servers?"
"That's not a bad idea." He suggested, knowing Flynn could pull that off easily enough, and he continued to nod as Claire suggested Cheyenne simply flirt with the guards. It was a demeaning roll in the grand scheme, but Claire had said Cheyenne did that best, and if that was her strong suit they would need to ride it out best they could. Everyone had a role to play. "I could always ask to come." He suggested. "I haven't been there long and I certainly don;t have a high position in the museum, but perhaps, need be, they would allow me?" He shrugged his shoulders, feeling his feathers bristle slightly. "Let's not count on that though."
His eyes moved back over to Claire as she took a bite and he could see the satisfaction on her face. There was nothing like the feeling of cooking something and seeing the joy on someone's face as they took a bite. He watched her delicate features move gently as she chewed, admiring her elegant jaw bone.
Griffin pulled his eyes from Claire and looked at his own supper. "So to sum it up, Claire will attempt to get the key from Frank, with my assistance if needed." Again he looked at the girl, not wanting her to try and dissuade him. "I will try and get my own ticket, but if not I will accompany Claire, Flynn will pose as a server and Cheyenne will distract the guards by flirting and attempting to coax them from the display. When she succeeds Claire, Flynn and I will make our move, getting the skeleton from the case and then..." This was where he drew a blank. How would they get it from the museum? There were cameras! "This is going to be difficult.."

"...it would be sort of hard but.. I think I can pull it off." Cheyenne grinned. "Let me know if you need my help." She said in a soft, teasing voice, meant only for her sister though she was sure the other two heard. "Actually, I've taught you a thing or two. I think you could pull this off." She grinned and took a bite of her food. "Mm, Griffin this is excellent." She complimented, giving her sister a little kick under the table to she would remember to compliment the chef as well. It was like she was intentionally trying to not do everything Cheyenne had told her to! It was almost as if she didn't want Griffin at ALL, which Chey knew was bull since she talked about the boy quite a bit, or at least quite a bit in Claire standards. Granted, part of the reason was because they worked together and Claire practically breathed her work, but still. She knew there was more to the idle mention of him now and then.
When Griffin did the run down and Cheyenne took notes and nodded. "Don't worry, I got the guards covered. I know how to play dirty if I need to." She gave her sister a little wink, knowing she would know exactly how dirty she would play. It would be pretty hilarious if they came forward afterwards and said a lion had chased them. No one would believe them!
"Is there someplace it can be hidden? Like...maybe a duffel bag or something? Then you can smuggle it out whenever as long as you can hide it somewhere in the museum." Cheyenne suggested before turning back to her sister. "But back to this whole Frank business. This all rests on you being able to get that key." Cheyenne picked up her glass and took a little sip. "Maybe you can show us how you plan on getting it from ol' Franky boy. I know!" Her face lit up and clapped her hands together. "Why don't you practice on Griffin!" She suggested and looked around thinking it was a fabulous idea, seeking the others agreement. Though deep down she knew it would likely cause another meltdown, but this one would be far more amusing to watch and much less pathetic. Well, maybe not that much less pathetic..

Claire had some marvelous ideas this time around. More realistic than the flying ninja cats swooping in to save the day in Flynn's own opinion. She was pretty sure that those didn't exist anyway. Although the thought had entertained her quite a bit. Claire said that she would get the keys from someone named Frank, who Flynn suspected to be the one who was in charge at the Museum. He must have been if he held the keys.
Griffin voiced his dislike of the plan and Flynn looked at him curiously. He was peculiar when it came to Claire. Flynn had seen him show concern for her on a few occasions but it wasn't often. Although when he showed concern with her it was a little different. She assumed it was because he could be more open with her, but he seemed to be very protective of Claire. She wasn't sure why but it seemed peculiar to her, and she kept it to herself for now. Maybe she would ask him about it when they were alone another time.
Cheyenne on the other hand seemed to think that her sister could very well do it and Flynn liked that she had such faith in Claire. She wasn't sure how she felt about Cheyenne just yet, but she knew that Claire seemed to be a sweet girl with a few little quirks to her. Cheyenne on the other hand voiced her opinions rather openly and didn't hold back the way she felt. Flynn found this both redeeming and put off qualities in the girl.
When it was suggested that Flynn act as a server she was eager to accept with a head nod and a bright smile on her face. "Of course! That would be a great way for me to get in without an invitation." The ideas were only getting better as they continued to discuss.
She took a little pause to have a bite of the food on her plate, starting with the rice pilaf first. She liked to save the fish for last since it was always the best part of any meal in her opinion. "It's perfect, Griffin." Flynn commented on the meal and put a hand on Griffin's forearm and patted it gently as her way of showing her appreciation for the meal that he made.
Griffin began to break down everything that they had discussed and Flynn nodded, running through it all in her head. She thought her part couldn't be more perfect. It got her in and she didn't have to try to do any persuading. She wasn't a very persuasive person and aggression definitely wasn't her forte. So having such an easy, passive role was perfect for her. She thought they pretty much got most of it down except for how they would get the Avisaille out of there when Cheyenne spoke.
"Why don't you practice on Griffin!"
Flynn wasn't really sure how Claire was going to attempt to get the key from this Frank person, but Cheyenne seemed definitely amused and wanted Claire to show how she would.. on Griffin? She guessed that made sense, since Griffin was the only male there and this Frank person was most definitely a male since when they referred to frank they said 'he'. Cheyenne might have had a point. "That's a great idea, Cheyenne! Maybe we should run through what we're going to do. Griffin you know this Frank? Maybe you should go sit at your desk and pretend you're frank so Claire can practice!"

"That's very risky, Claire. I don't know if that's such a good idea."
She was still trying to figure everything out, going over all the details and planning out the perfect way to do everything! There was a reason why Flynn should act as staff for the banquet, but she didn't have all the specifics figured out just yet so she hadn't said anything yet. But Griffin's statement made Claire look up at him partially distracted by her own thoughts. He was worried about her? Well, he was probably worried because if she was caught then they would all be caught. So it made sense. "I'm just going to take that key tomorrow when I go in. I'll take it off the ring and Chey can come get me for lunch and we can go make a copy of it then I'll put it back. I can totally do it." She shook her head and made a face as if to say 'I've got this' in just her expression.
She'd watched her sister act like a sleazy tramp a handful of times and that's all she had to do! She'd pretend she was her sister! Claire did it a lot when she was at home alone, especially after Cheyenne made her angry about something. Usually when they hung up the phone Claire would walk around her place giving Luna a show talking in her best high pitched Cheyenne voice. So like, I totally slept with this guy last night Claire! And it was HUGE! His wallet, that is! ahahaa! She'd give her sister's laugh and then blow raspberries at Luna who would usually hiss when she was mimicking her sister. Pretending to seduce Frank wouldn't be much different, would it?
She felt a sharp pain in her leg which brought her back to the present time and she nearly yelled out but caught herself just in time. Her fork clattered to her plate though from the shock of it and she wanted to kick her sister back but knowing her she'd probably kick Griffin or Flynn instead so she decided not to do it. "You're a really good cook. I can't even follow the directions on the back of the macaroni and cheese box." She confessed honestly. Claire was a terrible cook and had just given up entirely. She had no skill in the kitchen and was not very domesticated at all. She was okay with it though. She'd prefer to go out and work and have someone else make her meals for her. And since she lived alone she usually just picked something up and brought it home to eat. Her fridge was pretty scarce of food.
Griffin summarized what everyone's job was and he even mentioned that he would help Claire with obtaining the keys if she needed it, and looked at her when he said it as if he wanted to make sure she knew that he was going to help her. She definitely didn't want Griffin to be there though! It would only throw her off and make her more awkward and uncomfortable than she already was going to be.
When it came to the question of how they were going to get the bones out of there she stuck her finger in the air as if they were in class and she wanted to make sure she had permission to speak again. "That's where Flynn comes in. See, because there's going to be caterers there's going to be a lot of carts. Some will have food, some will have champagne, and then there's going to be cleanup carts." She looked around to make sure everyone was still with her, pausing for a second in case anyone had anything to say before she kept going.
"I've had to set up a ton of these banquets. And I'm the only who calls the catering company. I use the same company every time and they use these stainless steel carts that have two tiers to them? Well they put a cloth over the top tier so you can't see the second, and when they take trash or dirty trays, or whatever, they put them in these bins on the bottom tier. That way it stays out of view since we don't have a kitchen for them to use. Well, if Flynn gets her hands on one of those carts then we can stick the bones in one of the bins and wheel it right out the back." Claire said and rolled her shoulders in a shrug. "It's a suggestion." They didn't have to listen to her, but she figured that was their best possibility. Flynn would be able to get out the back if she was in their uniform and nobody would take a second glance at her.
She took another bite of the salmon and savored it as if it were her last meal. During her second bite Cheyenne came up with her genius plan for Claire to practice getting the keys off of Griffin and Claire froze, mouth full of food and stared at her sister as if she had just asked Claire to tie an anchor to her leg and jump into the Pacific ocean!
"That's a great idea, Cheyenne! Maybe we should run through what we're going to do. Griffin you know this Frank? Maybe you should go sit at your desk and pretend you're frank so Claire can practice!"
Oh, Flynn. Claire thought and looked at Griffin's friend who seemed to love the idea and even egged Griffin on to act like Frank. Claire swallowed the mouthful of fish and coughed a bit since she hadn't actually chewed it up first. "I don't think that's such a good idea, guys. I mean -- Griffin doesn't want to be Frank and -- heh heh!" Claire chuckled nervously and looked around the table at the three of them before landing on Griffin and wondering what he would say. She was put on the spot. She was going to disown her sister when they left there that night, that was for sure. "I--..." Claire was speechless. She didn't know what to say and didn't want to make it worse than it already was.

"Thank you both." He said with a sincere smile to the McLeester sisters for their compliments. "I'm glad you're enjoying it." The conversation had started to take a turn in a good direction, or so Griffin had thought. Cheyenne, naturally, had to suggest Claire practice on him. He knew Claire enough to know that wouldn't be a good idea. Any time you put the girl on the spot like that she would get frazzled. Working with her for a few months had taught him that, and he knew the girls sister should have known better considering she had actually grown up with Claire. What was worse was Flynn encouraging the idea! His dear friend had no idea the repercussions of such a suggestion, but Griffin did and he could see it clearly in Claire's green eyes. The idea had made her uneasy as Griffin himself knew it would.
"I don't think that's such a good idea, guys. I mean -- Griffin doesn't want to be Frank and -- heh heh!" A look of pity slid across his kind face and the corners of his lips curled up ever so gently. Again that feeling of Claire being a sad lost puppy crossed hi heart and mind. She just needed a chance to flourish, and considering Griffin's true age he knew, through years of wisdom, that she would do so in the next few years. If her sister didn't kill her with embarrassment first.
"I--..." "No, you're right." Griffin interjected, wiping his mouth. "I could never be a convincing Frank. I wouldn't know how he acted since I've hardly had any time with him, so practicing on me would be fruitless." He explained, hoping to save face for Claire and get the other two women to back off a little. "I trust Claire to figure something out. And worse case scenario she doesn't get the keys and she and I try again later before your lunch date to make a copy." He offered looking around at the group as if this was the best way to proceed, which it probably was. It would e disastrous to have Claire try and practice on him considering how uneasy he seemed to make her in tense situations, and this was obviously a tense situation for her given her reaction to the suggestion.
"As for your idea about the carts, I think that sounds more than perfect. You and I can get the skeleton, Flynn could bring us a cart, and we can get it outside then. Flynn could meet us at the car and we can get him in the trunk and be on our way. Or... perhaps Flynn and Cheyenne could take it and you and I could take the bus, that way we have an alibi. They could never pin it on us since we'll still be there. We would never even be suspected" He suggested, thinking it was a good idea. Plus there was the added benefit of staying at the party and seeing everyone's reaction. He was curious as to how everyone would respond to seeing the display case empty.

Cheyenne practically beamed when Flynn agreed with her! Maybe the other girl wanted Griffin to get with Claire, too. He probably needed to get laid and lord knew Claire did! It was Cheyenne's goal to get her sister hooked up with a good guy and Chey knew good guys. Griffin was definitely a good one! All Claire needed to do was get over herself and all would be good!
At Claire's hesitation, Cheyenne opened her mouth to interject when Griffin did it for her, and not in her favor. She pursed her lips as he explained he couldn't even pretend to be Frank! She was a little annoyed at first but then she realized he proved her right. He WAS a good guy. Claire would have botched that up and he couldn't stand to see her make a fool of herself for probably the fourth time that evening. She had enough trouble getting herself into trouble without Cheyenne's aid, so the girl simply smiled at Griffin.
She was totally going to hook those two up somehow!
She listened to the rest of the plan and nodded. Griffin and Claire knew the museum much better than she did. She heeded their words seriously, deciding it sounded solid enough. It wasn't like she would get caught or anything. She would sooner shift and book it than get caught!
Her favorite part was Claire and Griffin staying behind together. "I think that sounds great!" She beamed, smiling at Flynn. "We could totally get that bag of bones out of there. Then we can... uhh.." Her brows furrowed as her gaze turned to her sister. "What the hell are we going to do with it once we have it? I mean, do we throw it in the ocean? bury it somewhere? Someone's just going to find it again."

Perhaps it was Griffin's declination but Flynn got the feeling that maybe it was for the best that him and Claire didn't try to act out the scenario. The poor dear would probably get distraught and have herself a little attack of nerves.
When Cheyenne mentioned taking the bones and finding a way to dispose of them Flynn looked at Griffin with concern in her eyes before she piped up, trying not to sound too forceful but there was a bit of a waver in her voice. "He deserves a proper burial." She said and looked at the two girls before back to Griffin, hoping that she didn't sound too desperate in this matter. But the very thought of the bones being buried or just thrown somewhere like a pile of trash made her very emotional. "We can wrap up the bones and when Claire and Griffin are done at the banquet they can join us. We can take them to Megsy Isle and burn them."
Flynn turned her eyes down to her plate that was in front of her, feeling her appetite receding. An Avisaille funeral had never been something that she liked to attend. The Avisaille's lived for so long that the bonds that they shared with others of their kind ran deep. It was heartbreaking to lose someone with such wisdom. But Flynn hoped that this wasn't the end of their journey. She'd learned of Religions in her travels in her earlier years, and was always fascinated by the beliefs in a higher power that had a plan for everyone there on Earth.
It was when someone was welcoming death that they hoped there was truth to these religions. Flynn hoped that for the departed Avisaille. If they did have souls then she was sure his was pure and white. He'd surely ascend to the Heavens if there were such a thing.

If Claire was going to have to try and pretend Griffin were Frank and use seducing techniques that she'd seen Cheyenne do several times in the past then she was going to go into cardiac arrest right there. Even Flynn thought it was a great idea! Claire was going to kill her sister for even bringing that up! It was Griffin who came to her rescue, stating that he didn't think it would be a good idea because he wouldn't be a very convincing Frank. It was true. Even Claire couldn't be a convincing Frank and she'd been working under him for the last three years. Frank was.. Frank.
As the conversation rolled on, Claire fastened her gaze onto Griffin and hoped that he'd look over to her so she could mouth a silent 'thank you' while the others kept talking. If it weren't for the fact that Griffin was right across from her at the table she'd probably grin like a moron at the thought of how he'd just saved her from a really embarrassing situation.
"What the hell are we going to do with it once we have it? I mean, do we throw it in the ocean? bury it somewhere? Someone's just going to find it again." Her sister had asked a valid question.
Claire wasn't sure what they should do with the bones when they got them. Burying them wasn't a great idea since they would definitely be dug up again. Not to mention fingerprints! If they were to bury them or try to get rid of them in any way their prints would be all over them! Unless...
"We can wrap up the bones and when Claire and Griffin are done at the banquet they can join us. We can take them to Megsy Isle and burn them." Flynn's idea wasn't far from what Claire had been thinking!
"That will take care of all the evidence. They can't trace it back to us if they don't have anything to trace. And I'm pretty sure ashes aren't traceable." Claire said and grinned at them before she looked down at her food and started to push it around with her fork before scooping it up and taking a hearty bite.
It was mid-bite that she started to wonder about what Flynn said. Something about it seemed... off. She looked up and over to her with her brows knitting together in the middle of her forehead, curiosity all over her expression. "Wait. Why Megsy Isle? Can't you guys just take them somewhere and light them up?" The thought of them throwing these long gone birdman a funeral gave her the creeps. She didn't know this person. Sure, she felt sad about what happened to this guy. Although it was probably natural causes. But still!
"I'm just wondering." She added quickly after that, not wanting to sound like she had some weird agenda to her question. "I mean, if there's a reason that you want to do it there then that's good as gravy. Griffin and I can catch a cab if that's the case. I don't think the bus goes all the way out there."

Griffin allowed Flynn to take the lead with the explanation of what they planned to do with the remains, catching Claire's eye in the process. He saw her mouth her thanks to him and he threw a wink her way before giving his attention to Flynn so as not to be rude. He nodded gravely to show he agreed with her plan. It was the only way to get rid of the evidence completely so no one could find him again. They had been doing it for decades, since they had arrived in Scriptor Bay. He noticed Flynn's sudden loss in appetite and he wondered if this truly disturbed her. It upset him, but he wondered how hard it was hitting Flynn. He made a mental note to ask later and make sure she was alright.
At Claire's question he had a good answer prepared. He knew it would seem odd that they would want to go to Megsy Isle, but even for those who weren't of Avisaille decent it was a perfect place. "No one is up at the Isle this time of year. It's too cold to spend the days wandering, or the evening gazing at the sea. We would have complete privacy. We can do it discreetly with no interruption. Then we can scatter the ashes in the sea, truly removing all evidence and remains from the earth. They would have to fish the particles out." He explained, knowing it had to make sense to Claire as well. "Plus I'm sure it's what he would have wanted. Megsy Isle is one of the most beautiful places in Scriptor Bay" He said delicately.
The discussion was becoming increasingly more sad and less about the plan, which he didn't want. They had a job to plan and that's what they should be focusing on. "Alright, so is everyone clear on their jobs? Claire and I can sort out all the details at work. Escape routes, where the guards will be located, any weird changes that might come up, and then we can spread them to you two respectively." He explained looking towards Flynn and Cheyenne. "Oh, and to answer your question, a cab would work just fine." He said to Claire, throwing a small smile her way.

Cheyenne missed nothing. It was the predator in her. She saw her sister mouth the thank you, she saw Griffin smile, she saw how uneasy Flynn had become with the whole scenario.. Nothing got past her but she kept quiet, silently studying and watching everything. She was like a lioness, silently waiting in the tall grass for her prey to inch closer before pouncing, not that she would pounce. She would never pounce, not literally. Figuratively she supposed she would. She had already that evening, very subtley.
"Yeah, I guess that does make sense. I mean, the forest makes sense too. We could bury the ashes, but dusting them off to sea, now that... that's pretty good." She agreed, but she had the feeling something was fishy about it. Maybe it was just her weird instincts kicking in. Even with it, the reasoning seemed legit enough.
"I know my part. Slut it up, since apparently that's all I'm good for." She raised a brow at her sister before addressing the table again. "Then keep the guard distracted until you guys load the old bag of bones into Claire's sweet ride, then me and Flynn high tail it out of there in Claire's car to Megsy Isle where we toast the skeleton. I didn't leave anything out, did I?"

"... if there's a reason that you want to do it there then that's good as gravy. Griffin and I can catch a cab if that's the case. I don't think the bus goes all the way out there."
Flynn was trying to come up with a good explanation to give to Claire but Griffin thankfully stepped in and offered his own. She pursed her lips together and gave a soft little smile while nodding agreeably to what he described. Megsy Isle was a beautiful place. "I know that is what I would like. The cemetery seems like a lonely place to lie. I would rather have my ashes sent out to sea."
Flynn knew it would be quite some time before she parted with this Earth. She'd outlive the sisters and the very thought saddened her even more. Although being an Avisaille she experienced the world and felt more deeply than most others could, it was also a very sad and lonely life unless you stuck with other Avisailles. She looked at Griffin again and felt grateful to have such a wonderful friend. Suddenly those dinner parties weren't as appealing anymore. Then again, she figured it was just the current conversation.
She looked to Cheyenne as she said a rundown of what was going to happen and then nodded. "I do like the sound of this plan. It sounds simple enough. And though I don't like to be the one to bring down the conversation, what should we do if something goes wrong?"

Claire caught the wink and gave a little grin back while her eyes moved around to try and focus on something other than Griffin or else she was going to turn redder than her hair and probably start drooling. That's when she realized that Cheyenne had seen the little back and forth that her and Griffin had just done. She scrunched up her nose at her sister before she turned to listen to what Griffin and Flynn were saying about Megsy isle.
"It makes sense. We'll just hail a cab and meet you two out there and we'll make sure that nobody can find those bones again." In a way, Claire felt like they were doing their Guardian duties. She felt a sense of heroism, planning this heist in Operation: Birdman. The life tree had been dormant since she was born and there were no threats that they had to protect the city from. So being a Guardian didn't mean much of anything in Claire's opinion until now. Now they actually did have something to do. Only it wasn't to protect the city, it was to protect themselves.
"...since that's all I'm good for." Claire heard her sister say and she looked over at her again and nodded with a sarcastic smile on her face, like she was going to mock her sister. Cheyenne made the perfect slut! Claire knew it. And she was pretty sure her sister knew it too!
Cheyenne summarized their plan and then Flynn brought up what Claire knew was an inevitable question. That was something that she didn't know how to respond to. Was she willing to take the blame for it and lose her job at the museum? Or worse, get arrested for it? There were so many things that could go wrong with this plan but she didn't want to say them all. "With Cheyenne as a distraction there and having a key I don't think anything will go wrong. If it does.. we'll handle it." She pointed back and forth between her and her sister, then looked at her again.
Claire knew that if anything happened then her and Chey could make a big enough distraction by simply shifting. Nobody would notice the missing exhibit or even care about it if there was a lion and a cheetah rampaging through the museum.

"....And though I don't like to be the one to bring down the conversation, what should we do if something goes wrong?" Griffin thought about the question. It was an excellent question, really. They needed t have some sort of backup plan in case things went sour, but how could they know what would go wrong? Anything could go wrong, and as Claire pointed out that with the distraction and a key, things were likely to go smoothly, but that didn't mean it was a fool proof plan by any stretch of the imagination. Any number of things could go wrong.
"It's too difficult to tell what may or may not go wrong. We all just need to keep our wits about us." He told the women with a not. "We play it safe and smart. I would rather we all allow the skeleton to stay where it is than to risk getting caught and putting ourselves in harms way." He didn't want his little plan to turn into something that would destroy Claire or her sisters lives. He and Flynn? They could fly off somewhere. He wasn't as concerned for their safety because he knew in the end they could take care of themselves and each other, and if they needed to disappear for twenty years or so they could. It would be odd coming back to the city, though. He knew he would want to see Claire but she would have aged a great deal by then. He looked at her and wondered if he could walk back into her life in twenty years? He would look young to her. She would be married with children, he was sure. The thought made him a little happy, to think she would be happy with someone.
Griffin had grown to care for the girl more than he could have ever expected. Not that he felt himself that he needed to be her personal guardian, but he did feel a need to keep her safe. Perhaps it was her awkwardness that drove him to feel so maternal over her. It was hard to say. Either way he wan;t fond of the idea of walking out of her life. Maybe he would keep in touch if anything were to happen and he had to feel the city for a while.
"Despite what we're doing, we need to keep in mind his life has passed, though ours have not. We come first. Watch out for one another, keep each other safe and improvise when necessary. I want you all to be especially careful. There's no room for error, and if we fail this time, there's no reason we couldn't try again after the reveal."

Cheyenne knew if anything went wrong she would turn into a lion and make things right, or at least save her sisters ass. Griffin? Flynn? She didn't care as much about them. If they go caught it was a shame, but Claire was her responsibility and she would be damned if something happened to her little sister on her watch.
She liked Griffins answer, though. She could keep her hard ass attitude to herself. Skeleton wasn't as important as their safety, yadda, yadda, yadda. It was a valid point she had come to the conclusion of several minutes before Griffin mentioned it, but it was nice that he did.
"Agreed. anything goes wrong we abort if we can't improvise." Her eyes moved to her sister and she looked at her for a moment before back to Griffin. "You let anything happen to my sister and you'll have me to answer to." She knew she could protect Claire, but she also knew she wasn't going to be on top of her all night the way Griffin was. Though she hoped Griffin would be on top of her after the event anyway. She made a note to tease Claire about that later.

Flynn hoped nothing did end up going wrong, but it seemed that everyone felt confident that everything would be under control. She trusted Griffin and knew that him and Claire knew the museum better than she did. Also, Cheyenne looked like she would be able to handle herself in a tough situation. If she had to guess, she would say that Cheyenne probably had found herself in a few tricky scenarios in the past. Nothing like stealing from the museum, but probably sticky situations with people.
And even though Flynn wanted to get this right the first time around she knew that if they couldn't get the bones of the Avisaille that they could always try again. Although, if it were after the revealing she was certain that the news would get back to Mordecai. She wasn't sure how he would handle it at that point and if he would put matters into the hands of the leaders.
"This sounds like a marvelous plan. I don't see anything going wrong, but if it does we'll be ready." Flynn offered her best smile to the table and her eyes landed on Cheyenne when she commented on Griffin taking care of Claire. It was awfully sweet that Cheyenne looked after Claire the way that she did. It was a little unorthodox, the way that she expressed her concerns but still sweet nonetheless. It was a sort of relationship that only siblings could have, and Flynn found herself a little envious of it.
She looked down at her plate and shoveled a bit of the rice pilaf onto her fork and brought it up to her mouth. She ate it with her mouth shut and listened. Flynn was known for her ability to listen. She considered going to school to be a therapist at some point, but had decided otherwise. It was easier for her to listen to her friends than it was a complete stranger sometimes.
