I have two ideas for these guys,

Either he would be an ex boyfriend of sorts, maybe she tried to have a relationship once, but he was too arrogant and dumped him. He is quite the asshole.

Or they're really good possibly best friends, drinking buddies, partners in crime, everything. Since I can totally see these two hitting the town and tearing it up. Plus, he wouldn't get mad if she slept with his exes, he'd probably think it was hot!
