Gargoyles:
The Gargoyles are a nocturnal species. At dawn their human bodies shift into their statue form and at dusk they shift back into their human form. As humans they possess some of their physical statue attributes, such as small horns or long canines. They tend to be dark in nature due to their torturous right of passage, but not all Gargoyles are dark or moody in nature. Also their physical age is much younger than their actual age.
UPDATE: Gargoyles can buy daylight rings from witches who sell them that allow gargoyles to stay human during the day. There are side effects if they wear them all the time. Side effects include weakness, weariness, and effects that go with insomnia.
Avisaille:
The Avisaille are attracted to the day. They are typically kind and mellow in nature, though there are the exceptions. They tend to be gentle and are extremely knowledgeable about various things due to their long right of passage abroad. Avisaille grow twice as slow as humans, so an Avisaille who is 60 will look to be 30. All Avisaille have a set of working wings which they keep hidden in a harness beneath their clothing. Their wings vary in color, but otherwise it is physically impossible to tell an Avisaille from a human.
Therianthropes:
The Therianthrope can shift at will into one mammal except at the full moon. When the moon is full they are forced to take their animal form until the sun rises. The animal they shift into often reflects the type of personality they have. They age the same as humans and blend well with the human species.
Blurrs:
The Blurrs are the chameleons of the Guardians. They have the ability to blend into their background and make themselves invisible in a sense to all who look their way. Blurrs are peaceful and friendly in nature and often comedic. Their skin when in human form is typically soft and feels slightly unnatural, but they are otherwise indistinguishable from humans.
