Blurrs
Of the four guardians Blurrs are the guardians of dawn. Dawn is the time you're most likely to catch blurrs in their true forms. They only reveal their true forms just as the sun begins to rise. Their true form is nothing more than a form of haziness. Often when they take their true form they prefer to be in a large group or caught up in a fog to make it less noticeable. Because of their enigmatic nature if one were to try and stare straight at a blurr in their true form it would be difficult to pinpoint the actual creature because of their mirage like appearance.
Blurrs, before coming through the Tree of Enlightenment, had a realm that they called their own. Bulventais was a very beautiful realm. They did not have any moons in that realm and their only sun did not orbit. It was always in a state of dawn where the Blurrs came from. They weren't the only race in Bulventais, but they were the ones with the highest population. Because the sun did not orbit it left part of the planet in complete darkness. This side was underpopulated and only by the nocturnal which the Blurrs were not a part of. They stayed on their own lands.
The Blurrs were a peaceful race that preferred to keep to themselves. They did not go in packs but instead stayed in small groups of two or sometimes three. Their family sizes were always kept small if they decided they wanted to make one which most of them chose not to do.
On the off chance that a Blurr would become curious and want to venture away from their hazy dwelling, they had an alternative form they could take. Their figure would become more solid, their skin and features definite. Because they were never a hostile race they were always easy targets to larger, more dangerous prey that lived in their realm. Taking on a more solid form caused them to blend in with the other species.
When they came through the portal they had a difficult time adapting to the change in climate. Oregon may have its fair share of fog filled days but not nearly as many as Bulventais. They're very careful not to have too much physical contact with others since their skin feels soft and abnormal to the touch.
Some say that if you look hard enough, you see blurry figures walking through the park just at dawn. They're seen the most around the Tree of Enlightenment, lingering and waiting.
