Features: Sophie has dark brown hair that naturally curls down past her shoulders. She has large, almond-shaped blue-green eyes and a cute, upturned nose. Her mouth is slightly wide with plump lips. She has very pale skin, a contrast to her dark hair, and makes her look almost like a porcelain doll. Her ears are slightly larger than most but well-hidden behind her long hair. She has a heart-shaped, full-cheeked face that gives her an almost childish look to her. Sophie takes good care of herself, but always looks artfully disheveled.
Sexual Preference [Optional]: Heterosexual, though she has no qualms kissing girls

Marks/Tattoos/Visible Scars: A tattoo of the number 25 below the name “Beezy” on her left shoulder-blade. This was her number and nickname throughout her soccer years.

Flaws/Weaknesses: Sophie is very flighty and tends to lose interest quickly. She can be quite impatient and has trouble reigning in her temper when she loses it—her filter pretty much becomes nonexistent. It’s easy to distract her and she has a tendency to ramble and gossip.
Skills/Strengths: Sophie is multitalented and multitasks well. She’s very creative and also very smart, much sharper than anyone would give her credit for. Her energy is seemingly boundless and her happiness is infectious. She easily makes friends and freely gives love, something that she has no lack of. History: Sophie Beasley was born in Latvia. Her mother died from eclampsia within hours of her birth, but she had time enough to give her newborn daughter a name: Inga. The baby and her year-and-a-half old sister Lavina were surrendered to child protective services, the girls having no living father left to care for them and no willing family members either. Unfortunately, the girls were sent to separate adoption agencies and the kind American family that adopted baby Inga had no idea she had a big sister. Had they known, the Beasleys would have adopted Lavina too. It wasn’t until years later while researching their daughter’s limited background that they realized their little girl had a sister, already adopted a couple years prior. There was nothing more they could discover about the other girl and opted not to tell Sophie until she was older.
Sophie’s childhood was normal and happy. She was a good student, popular among the other kids, and quite the little athlete. She did swimming, gymnastics and soccer. Nothing caught her attention and joy quite like soccer did. The little powerhouse was the team leader and a natural on the field. Soon swimming and gymnastics fell to the wayside and she focused solely on soccer as her sport. She also went into piano lessons and excelled quickly. All through middle school and high school she continued with soccer and piano. Part of her popularity came from her bubbly, eccentric nature and she was completely comfortable with who she was from a young age. As an only child, her parents Mack and Cindy encouraged her individuality and showered her with love and affection. Thankfully she didn’t turn out a spoiled brat but instead bestowed this love on others she met. It didn’t take long after starting high school for her to discover she had a way of charming men, however, and she used it to her every advantage. An endless string of boyfriends entertained her whims and gave her an outlet for her overarching romantic dreams. No one boy measured up for long, but she adored all of her boyfriends and made sure they knew it. She was an above average student, though not the top of her class—there was too much to do to try and be the best at one thing! By senior year, Sophie was editor of the newspaper, the literary magazine, the soccer team captain and leading the orchestra for her high school performance club. All of this activity probably contributed to her flighty, ADD nature later on in her life.
With scholarships to college and practically a full ride, she decided on UCLA for college. She fit right in. The hustle and bustle of the fashionable city caught her wayward soul and she loved every inch of it. She studied communications with a concentration in journalism, but also fell in love with computers after taking an introductory programming class in her first semester. Her minor became information technology and she got involved with the robotics club. She learned how to build computers and started working on them regularly. Well, whenever she was off the field. Her soccer career didn’t stop after high school and “Beezy” was a well-known name by the end of her freshman year. She was a rising star and scouts were spreading talk that she could go on to the professional leagues after college. But that wasn’t where her heart was. She loved soccer, always had, but she didn’t want the life of an athlete—she didn’t want to be broken down by age forty. Instead, she focused her attention towards her music and fashion. She loved researching the new trends and seeing how every old trend was recycled and improved upon time and again. It was fascinating to her. The music instructor who became her mentor suggested she could become a concert performer, but that wasn’t the life she wanted either. She feared the limelight, both athletic and musical, afraid it would change her or put her flaws out for the world to see. It was one thing for her to flaunt her flaws, but quite another for others to do so. As popular as she was, she hadn’t asked for it. But writing was a safe way to be in just the right amount of light.
After graduation Sophie went on to find work in the fashion industry. It took a few years, but she eventually found a place as a copywriter for In Style magazine. She’s climbed the ladder since and is now a staff writer for the magazine. She also has a regular column on Huffington Post with quite the fan-base thanks to her flippant, light-hearted writing style. In her free time she still likes to build computers and on weekends can frequently be found jamming on her piano to blues and jazz in coffee shops and clubs. She still wonders about her sister from time to time, her parents having revealed her existence when she graduated college, but she hasn’t pursued the information. What if her sister wanted nothing to do with her? What if she was dead? She was probably in Latvia anyway and Sophie didn’t speak Polish or Russian. She was afraid of what secrets finding her sister would bring to the surface and even at 33, she didn’t know that she could handle it. But if by some miracle she did meet her sister, she just knew it would fill the hole that she always felt deep in her heart.
