Welcome to August! There are so many things that have happened in the last month that this may be a very long newsletter! For those of you who are new then this will bring you up to date with everything that has happened in July. For those of you who have been here a while then it will not only be a refresher but you’ll know all about more amazing updates and the newest plot that will be happening this month!

As always we have a welcome section! And this time we would like to welcome Wiz and Katie for joining the board! They’ve been a wonderful addition to our Scriptor Bay family and we’re happy to have them! We’ve also added a whole bunch of new characters to the board. (Too many to list!) So be sure to check out their bios and relationship trackers when you can.

Brace yourself! There’s a whole lot of news this month! Let’s start with a recap of the last month though, shall we?

JULY RECAP - We had the masquerade ball which came out amazing! Well, mostly amazing. The ball was beautiful and almost everyone had a great time. Until the masked mystery man came through handing out invitations to individuals at the ball, inviting them to what they thought would be something wonderful only to find out that the Avisaille leader, Mordecai Deitrich, had been brutally murdered. His wings were cut from his body and he had been crucified, nailed to the Tree.

As if that wasn’t bad enough the tree cracked open and let out the most horrifying black smoke. Now the city is left in a constant state of overcast. There is no telling whether it is day or night, summer or winter. It rains and snows. Animals are running all over the place and there are people who walk around looking like they’d never slept a day in their life. The citizens of Scriptor Bay had reached their lowest.

BACK TO THE NEWS - There will be a new Avisaille leader showing up on the board very soon. Cupcake will be creating him and if your Avisaille has any questions or concerns or just needs to talk to their leader then inform Cupcake and she will make it happen!

MORE NEWS - As I’m sure many of you have noticed there is a Public Notice in the announcements section and up on the side of the board. This is MANDATORY to read because it was given to everyone in Scriptor Bay. It was sent in the mail and is posted all over the city in store windows and on telephone poles so it would be impossible to miss.

BUT WAIT! THERE’S MORE! - If you haven’t noticed the new plot has been posted! Be sure to check it out! Now one thing about this plot that will be especially interesting is we will have an NPC name that everyone will be allowed to sign in with. I don’t know if anyone else enjoys being a little twisted from time to time but we will have sign ups if you wish to have your Avisaille or Therianthrope tortured at the camps. There will be doctors experimenting on them, trying to learn more about what they are and why they are different from humans. You can either play as your character or as the doctor, but please use the NPC account if you wish to be the doctor. Username: campmedic Password: sbpassword. Remember, this NPC is used for the camps. And while using the account, you can name your doctor whatever you would like in the thread you’re playing in. Just be sure not to reply to other threads where someone else is playing the doctor.

As far as updates go the biggest one is the change of the board’s graphics. We’ve been trying to keep it fresh and different every now and then and as I’m sure everyone has noticed, it’s no longer the masquerade graphics but a darker theme.

Surprise at the Hospital - Therians shift at the hospital causing panic. Nobody knows why the Therians shifted and the humans are in a stupor over what they witnessed.

Rhino Attack - A news report of a wild rhinoceros loose in the city who trampled a man to death.

Fear and Loathing in Scriptor Bay - The retelling of what happened between a group of men who found a panther in the streets and beat it.

These threads are good to read so you know what has been happening around the city. They’re not mandatory to read but they keep you informed. Always be sure to check the announcements section for anything new.
