Welcome to a brand new month! Or the middle of the month I should say! May has been quite a busy month filled with new members, characters and plots! So let's see what's new, what's old, and what's yet to come!
We'd like to say a warm welcome to all of our wonderful members and their characters as well! Unsure who is new? We make it easy!

This feisty fox is a maneater, plain and simple. But if you're in trouble she'll come to your rescue. She gets paid to after all, working for the SBPD.
William Avery
Species: Gargoyle
Coming out only at night, this officer of the law seems mild mannered in comparison to others in the SBPD. Not only does he patrol the streets he's also very smart. If you think you can outsmart this gargoyle, guess again.

Species: Geomancer
Not only is this Geomancer on the quiet side, but he is also one with nature. He is also a very spiritual man who can often times be found in the book shop that he inherited from his father.
BOARD WIDE PLOTSThese are plots that can be played at any time during the month or until a stated time. They are usually something you can thread with anyone and are often times done for fun more than story purposes.
Keep your eyes peeled for these plots!
Karaoke Night at Sunshine's Too! - We're not looking for the next American Idol, but if you can carry a tune then come on down to Karaoke Night! Even if you can't sing, we promise not to boo you off stage. Maybe not too much.
STORY PLOTSStory plots are used to - you guessed it - move the story along! They usually contain specific times that they happen and can go on for much longer than a month! Of course they are open to everyone (unless species restricted) and sometimes may have sign ups.
Invisible Magic - Harley & Hunter create a new type of magic by combining their powers. Sure, they might have been wanting to only find a new way to get high, but what they did was so much more than that.
Now there are rumors spreading through the city about a new type of ring with magical elements that allows a gargoyle wearing it to walk in the light!
But which gargoyle will be lucky enough to get his hands on it?
Threads to follow:Threads that are particularly good to read and related to the story. They are not mandatory!

UPDATES:
How Board Time Works:The board's timeline goes month by month real time. For example, any threads started after May 1st are done in May. If you started a thread in March that is still active then that doesn't change the timeline. A thread opened in March will continue to be in March. If you like to keep a better set timeline for yourself or other players, then feel free to date the first post in a thread.
Example:
May 11, 2012 8:47 p.m.
It was a gloomy day in May when Sirius decided to go to the store and buy a hot dog. . . . . .
CBOX:With our CBox we're pretty lenient as far as certain words go, just like in threads. Of course, we don't want our CBox filled with nothing but swear words, racism of any kind, or anything that may potentially scare away prospective members. We want our board to flourish and grow!
With that said, there are a few words that shouldn't be said in a CBox. It has been confirmed that saying them do tend to be a turn off to guests to come to the board. And these words along with a few others (that are just so bad they shouldn't be said anyway!) have been filtered out. So if you use these words they will come up as something entirely different. And at any time, more words may be filtered out if it is felt they're being abused.Well that's all we have for now! Be sure to check out June's Newsletter!
