Features: Andy is tall for a woman, standing at 5’8” with a runner’s athletic build. She’s long and lean with large brown eyes and dark brown hair. Her chin juts slightly forward with a minor underbite, but it’s not terribly noticeable. She has high, elegant cheekbones and a wide mouth to balance them. Her smile is sweet and crinkles her big eyes, which only adds to her childlike air.

Flaws/Weaknesses: Andy can be very hotheaded and aggressive. She’s also stubborn and tends to pout when things don’t go her way. Her pouting is not as outright as a child’s but noticeable and passive. Andy has also been known to be hard to tie down. Her commit to something is rare but permanent when given the chance to develop, such as her commitment to her job.
Skills/Strengths: Andy would give the shirt off her back to someone in need. She’s friendly and warm and makes friends everywhere she goes. She’s also fiercely loyal to those she loves and does what she can to protect them. With a good sense of humor, she is quite the comedian and quick to laugh in return. She’s also very bright and intuitive, though it might not be wise to rely on her for the answer to the hardest question on a math test.

History: Andy grew up in Scriptor Bay. Her parents, Vito and Elizabeth, were both Therians, her father a wolf and her mother a tiger. Elizabeth herself descended from the Native American tribe who originally settled in Scriptor Bay. Vito was a lumberjack and Elizabeth an elementary school teacher. They lived modestly, perhaps more on the poorer side, but they were happy. Andy was born the second of three children. She had an older brother Jack who was five years older than her, and she had a little sister Isabella, who was born when Andy was two. Andy can’t remember a day without her brother and sister when they were children. Jack was fiercely protective of Andy and Izzy, and they in turn adored him. The older she got, the more she tried to be as strong and brave as her big brother. Her mother and father were happy their children were so close. Until she was six, the family was a close knit unit and perfectly normal but for the monthly shifts his parents went through.
A tragic accident ended that for them, however. Out in the woods one day, Vito was working on fastening a load of logs to the flatbed of a truck. Before he could complete the job, the driver misunderstood a command and began driving. Vito jumped off the side of the truck, but it went over a set of bumps, sending the forty foot long logs crashing off the bed of the truck. Vito was crushed beneath the logs and rushed to the hospital. The family was just in time for Vito to tell his wife he loved her one last time and to wheeze one last word to his son: “Protect.” Andy was so young, she didn’t really understand what was happening until the doctor came back and told their mother that Vito was dead.
From that day forward, Andy remembered Jack being the man of the house. He helped Andy and Izzy with their homework and put them to bed when their mother had to work late or fell asleep early. Jack even protected Andy from bullies when they approached her. Seeing how the bullies feared her brother, Andy resolved to be able to do that herself. She tried her best to be like her brother, but she was much more talkative and carefree than he was. After a time, she was as tough as her brother. She protected the other girls from the boys in her age group and became quite popular. All through her school years she was popular with the other kids. She excelled at every subject except for math and the arts like art, music and dance. She also began doing track in middle school, which she continued to do even through college. There was a long string of boyfriends she had been through from her last year of middle school through high school, but she only took one or two of her relationships seriously. She was too carefree to be tied down for long. In all of these ways, she was much more like her father than even Jack. When she went through her first mutare, her mother was not surprised to see her become a red wolf, a smaller and warmer version of the timber wolf her father shifted into. Though Andy knew she was different from many of the other kids at school, she didn’t let it show. She just made excuses to not go to track meets on the night of the full moon.
Having so many friends in Scriptor Bay, Andy decided to go to Greenwolfe University and pursue a degree in English. She had a passion for reading and writing and was sure she wouldn’t mind being a school teacher like her mom, so she double-majored in Education. That was until she happened to take a Criminal Justice elective in her second semester. It was a night class on Criminology taught by a Mr. William Avery. She was so fascinated by the subject matter, she found herself often staying after class to ask her professor more questions about the material. Soon they were getting coffee together after class and Andy found herself loving both the topic of discussion and the man she was discussing it with. Liam, as he asked her to call him, seemed completely oblivious to the idea of a relationship, however. He probably didn’t notice her feelings either, obvious though they might have been. Andy tried to flirt but it failed miserably and she knew actively pursuing it would get him into trouble with the university, so she settled to admire from afar. The result of these conversations, though, was a new career path for her: she wanted to be a lawyer. She stayed an English major but changed her focus and was accepted into UCLA’s law school in her last year at Greenwolfe. She’d continued to see Liam when she could and consequently her string of boyfriends lessened considerably. When she graduated and moved to L.A., she resolved to let that relationship go in order to move on with her life.
Life in L.A. was lonely but filled with studying. She made a few friends at school, yet she was more focused than ever on her schooling. Finally she graduated and eagerly accepted a job in Portland near where her sister now lived with her fiancé and closer to home. For several years she worked as a prosecuting lawyer for the city of Portland. Her sister was married while she picked back up the dating game and her brother remained hopelessly single. In the past year, things have begun to change. When her mother and brother were locked up in a camp for Therians, she was reminded of how important her family was to her. Even Portland felt too far from them and she was happy to take her mother in when they were finally busted out of that awful camp. Soon before her mother went home, she was finding herself receiving increasing amounts of human trafficking cases. It wasn’t long before she was thrown into business with Danielle Drake and saw it as a sign that Dani was the owner of a large firm in Scriptor Bay. Not long after finding out her sister was pregnant and met her brother’s girlfriend, she was offered a job as junior partner at Dani’s firm. It was the perfect reason to go home and making a fresh start for herself. With a new apartment and a new job, she’s ready for a few new faces.
