The door swung open to the condo on the top floor at the Wallingford building. His left foot was the first to set foot inside and then his right. Sebastian entered the condo with a blonde beauty hoisted over his shoulder. The distance from the pink baby store to home wasn't long. Especially when you took to the rooftops and ran at an inhuman speed. He wasn't sure if she would still put up a fight or not, but Aly had been putting up quite a struggle when they left her place of work.
"Honey, I'm home!" Sebastian called out as if someone had been there waiting for him but he knew that not to be true. Not to mention that his sister, Prestine, had gone with him. In fact she was the whole reason he'd gone out and nabbed him this little firecracker of a woman. So if anyone was truly to blame for the disappearance of Aly it would be his darling twin sister.
"Welcome to your new home. I hope you'll enjoy your stay here in the Davenport suites." He knew that Prestine wouldn't be far behind him so he went straight for the couch and leaned down so he could drop Aly onto the furniture and be rid of her weight. Although she weighed next to nothing and he probably could have carried five of her, he shrugged his shoulder and moved it in a circle as if he were trying to stretch the muscles out.
"Now there are a few rules we have to go over. Boundaries. Rule one: You won't be leaving this place. Ever again." His lips curled into a sinister smile and he waited to see just what the girl would try to do. Let the games begin.

Al had struggled quite a bit at first but when her captor took to the roofs she settled a bit, especially considering the speed in which he traveled. She had ripped the tape off her mouth the second she had the chance to. He was going WAY too fast for a regular person. Maybe he'd been a track runner? Even still, he was quick! It freaked her out enough so that she was still for most of the trip, trying to figure out a way to get out of all of this. If she reached for her phone during the trip he would know it and take it from her. She would have to be sneaky if she wanted to get away from this prick. Of course she didn't know her fate until they arrived at his home and he flung her down on the couch.
Al glared at the boy from her reclined spot on the couch, afraid to move or get up, knowing he would just grab her and throw her back down. He was strong for such a scrawny seeming guy. When he explained this would be her home she snorted and rolled her eyes. Like she would stay there! "Now there are a few rules we have to go over. Boundaries. Rule one: You won't be leaving this place. Ever again."
Al would be lying if she said at that moment fear hadn't struck her heart. It was racing in her chest as she slowly realized that he had no intention of letting her leave there. Not alive, anyway. She gulped. "We'll see about that." Her eyes narrowed further up at him in defiance. Of course she was afraid but it didn't stop her from giving him an attitude. Captive or not, Alyson Montgomery was who she was.
"People will look for me." She challenged, "And my boss has cameras." She lied. "They have you on tape taking me, you freak. It's only a matter of time before they figure out who you are!"

He expected a bit more of a fight from the girl after he let her go. She ripped the tape off her mouth but she didn't try to get up and run for the door. She was smart after all! Sebastian stood there by the armrest of the couch that was closest to the door just looking down at her with that sadistic grin planted on his face.
"People will look for me."
"Oh dear!" He said in a fake, overly dramatic voice.
"And my boss has cameras."
"Well!" He said in the same manner, acting like he was surprised and scared at the same time.
"They have you on tape taking me, you freak. It's only a matter of time before they figure out who you are!"
"Ah, now!" Sebastian stuck a finger in the air as if he had a point to make and he'd suddenly grew wise. "That isn't going to happen." He walked around to the front of the couch and leaned towards her, towering over the girl as he put his hand on the back of the couch so that he could keep his balance and not topple on top of her.
"Because to be caught you'd have to exist. Which I do not." Of course Sebastian existed. He was standing there talking to Aly! But truth be told, he didn't pay taxes. He didn't have any sort of identification. He had when he was younger but now? Nothing.
"Now. Second rule." He stuck two fingers out in case she needed to count them and wiggled them close by her face. "You do as I say and you'll stay just the way you are now; in one piece."

He was mocking her and she was frustrated with it, but she wasn't entirely sure what she could do about it. When he came close she instinctively scooched back on the sofa to put a little more distance between them. She didn't like him or this situation and she needed to think! She wasn't sure what she would do if he tried to lay a filthy finger on her. How did she even think he was mildly attractive!? The thought repulsed her to no end now and she felt stupid for trusting him in the store. Would Cass report her missing? Would anyone? Her professors would wonder after a week, but by then it could be too late. Her phone was her only chance. She couldn't let him know she had it!
She wondered what he meant when he said he didn't exist. How could someone not exist? Someone owned this apartment they were in. Or was it a condo? Al wasn't sure and she didn't care. What she did know was that everyone existed! She would be found! Wouldn't she? She had to! The girl gulped, trying not to let her emotions get the best of her. She wanted to cry but she wouldn't. Not in front of Sebastian, if that was even his name.
"Now. Second rule." Al sneered at his fingers as he wiggled them close to her face, moving her head a little to get them away from her. "You do as I say and you'll stay just the way you are now; in one piece." What could she say to that? She wouldn't do as he said! She would fight him tooth and nail, but she was terrified to say that, fearing he would prove her wrong by forcing her to do something she didn't want to. She would fight like a maniac but she had already witnessed his strength over her and didn't want to piss him off just yet.
Her throat felt dry and she was feeling a little dizzy from the reality setting in. There was actually a chance that she might not live to tell the tale. She needed to do something! "I need a glass of water." She said hoarsely, giving him a scared glower.

Sebastian loved the smell of fear in the early hours of the night! He could definitely sense it. Why wouldn't she be terrified? She'd been kidnapped and taken into a stranger's home where she was being told to follow the rules and that she'd never leave again. If she wasn't afraid then she wouldn't be human. It was such a useless emotion in his opinion.
"I need a glass of water."
Sebastian continued to hover close to her and watch her even though she tried to move away from him. He sneered a bit and then stood up straight and took a step back. He looked at her as if he expected her to know what she was suppose to do but then his eyes grew impatient and he gestured with his head for her to get up. "Up!" He said mildly irritated.
"Your water isn't going to fetch itself. I'll show you the kitchen." He watched her and waited until she started to move as if she were going to get up and follow his command. When he was satisfied that she wasn't going to lay there like a slug he walked around the couch once more and headed towards the hall that would lead for the kitchen.
He grabbed the bottom of his shirt and pulled it over his head and tossed it against the wall and it fell in a heap on the floor. He'd get it later, or he'd make Aly do it. Either way he wanted to be shirtless since he was home. He had his back to Aly, and it was clear that there was something off about it.
Sebastian looked almost like a dinosaur from the way that his spine protruded out, bones that appeared too thick. He had thick bumps that ran down his spine where each vertebrae was. It definitely wasn't normal, yet it didn't look abnormal either. It looked as if it were natural since it didn't seem to tear at the skin or leave any strange discolorations or markings against the skin. It was just simply there.

When he told her to get up she hesitated for a moment. There was a strong part of her that wanted to resist his command, but if she wanted to see the light of day outside that apartment, she knew she better get her ass off the couch. She got up but kept her distance. Was he planning on letting her have free reign? If that was the case she could easily slip out when he was asleep. She could smother him with a pillow and then run like a bat out of hell!
She looked around the apartment as she started following Sebastian towards the kitchen, wanting to get a feel for where everything was. where rooms were, items were kept, where the front door was, etc.
When the man pulled his shirt off she was a little stunned. She stared at his back as they walked together, she a few steps behind. What was wrong with him? He looked almost...reptilian! But not really. t was creepy and she felt even more sick to her stomach. What was he going to do with her?
Nothing. She wouldn't let him! She slowly reached into her pocket, careful not to make noise, and pulled her phone out. She unlocked it and hit the phone button, typing 911 and then putting her hand down, facing the phone backwards and her hands slightly behind her back to hide the fact that she not only had a phone but that she was using it. She was afraid to put it back in her pocket just yet in case she hung up on the dispatcher by accident.
Unsure if they answered yet, she cleared her throat. "Where are we? When are you going to let me go?" She asked, wanting the police to hear. Maybe they would trace her call. Maybe she would be out of there by morning!

Prestine had to make a quick stop on her way home. She didn't really care about what Sebastian had planned for his new toy now that he obtained it. He could thank her later. It wasn't often her brother took an interest in keeping someone around for more than one night like she did. He must have seen something special in the blond, which didn't surprise her. She had picked her out, after all, though he was sure he would have chosen the brunette if he had to pick, but he didn't have a choice in the matter. Lucky for the brunette she escaped in the nick of time!
She stopped at the store to get candy for her own pet, a reward for good behavior, and then returned home. She wondered what she would come home to. Would Sebastian have taken her right to his room? Would he be tormenting her in the living room? A part of her hoped the latter. She sort of liked hearing others scream, but not always at her hands. Then again, she wasn't entirely sure she wanted to walk in on her brother doing nasty things to the girl. She had zero desire to see her brothers nasty little body.
When she strolled in she didn't see them and a part of her was disappointed but she shrugged it off easily. She moved towards the kitchen but slowed down when she heard the girl talking. They were just around the corner! She grinned and moved along, coming up behind the blond. Her eyes narrowed as she quickly realized what she was doing. She let out a sigh and snatched the phone from the girls hand, seeing it said Emergency across the screen. "Woops!" She said into the receiver. "I must have butt dialed. My bad. Sorry, have a lovely night!" Instead of hitting end, Prestine slammed the phone on the ground and stomped on it, not angry at all, just casual.
"Really, Sebastian. Have you not learned anything from me? Always check for cellphones! The people are practically infested with them. You're lucky." She told him, wagging her finger at him like a mother. "If I hadn't been here, she might have caused some real trouble." Prestine's pale eyes moved over to Aly and she tilted her head to the side. She reached out and tried to take Aly's chin with her hand. "I'm jealous. Breaking her will be so much fun." She sighed and then shrugged. "Oh well. You two have fun. Don't let her scream too much, it frightens Kitten. He's terrified of you, you know!" She said, moving past them both toward the kitchen to get a drink before heading to her chambers. She had a long night ahead of her!

"Where are we? When are you going to let me go?"
Sebastian knew he had already made it clear that he wasn't going to let Aly go. She wasn't going to leave. At least not alive. He had pegged her as having a brain. And no matter how terrified someone was he was sure that they would recall him saying that he wasn't going to let them go. Where they were was a different question entirely and he hadn't been specific of where they were exactly. He'd simply said that were home. He was getting ready to answer her just as he turned his head to look over his shoulder at her but the sight of his sister distracted him.
First, he thought to lunge toward Prestine because that was what his instincts told him to do. Prestine usually came over to screw around with his company and it didn't usually end well for the other person. They usually wound up dead. He turned and was ready to tell her to keep her dirty hands to herself until he stopped himself when he saw just what Prestine was grabbing for. A cell phone.
Prestine began to speak into the phone, exclaiming that it was a mistake that she had dialed the number. If he had to guess he would say it was the police that Aly had been trying to contact and that was enough to darken his mood to the point that his brows lowered and his eyes narrowed as he stared at his brand new plaything.
"Really, Sebastian. Have you not learned anything from me? Always check for cellphones! The people are practically infested with them. You're lucky."
He knew his sister was correct but he didn't even bother to acknowledge what she said. In fact, everything that she said from then on he didn't hear. His rage was filling his head and blocking out the noise that emanated from the opening on Prestine's face. He couldn't care less about what she was saying since it most likely pertained to how he was fortunate to have her around, talking about her boy toy, or asking him where something was located.
Sebastian was seeing red. And the problem was standing right in front of him. He closed the distance between himself and Aly and brought his right hand across his chest and then swung it at the blonde, wanting to smack her clear across the face and hopefully hard enough to knock her to the ground.
"You just made your last mistake." He snarled at her with hatred clear in his eyes.

When Sebastian's sister came up and grabbed her phone she let out a soft "Hey!" Afraid to speak louder, not wanting to call attention to herself anymore than the raven haired girl already was. Her heart began to pump harder and louder when her only way of escape was smashed into the ground, shattering into a million pieces. Now more than any other time that night she wanted to cry. Even if she could run, her fear had paralyzed her in that spot. A cold sweat began to bead on her brow as she went on about cellphones to the boy. Alyson swallowed the lump in her throat, turning widened eyes towards the boy who looked more like an animal than a man in that moment.
His brows were so low over his eyes that she could hardly see them. They were filled with rage. Nothing could mistake that and she instinctively took a step back away from him. She never even saw his hand coming as it sliced through the air and slammed hard into her cheek, sending her back into the wall and then crumbling to the ground.
She couldn't hold it in any longer. Ever strong Alyson Montgomery let out a cry of pain and fear as her body hit the ground, her hand moving to her stinging cheek in an attempt to make it feel better, but her own gentle touch made it sting that much worse. Despite it all she didn't cry, but stared back up at Sebastian with fear, which she knew was exactly what he wanted to see. She had to do something! She had to try and get out of there!
"You just made your last mistake." Her own fate was in her hands, and in a last ditch desperate attempt at freedom she sent her leg sailing hard towards his knee. She had taken a self defense course once in her younger years. Hopefully she could injure him enough to incapacitate him long enough to get up and run out the door, which is exactly what she attempted to do next.

Seeing Aly go crumbling to the floor near the wall brought a sense of joy to Sebastian. It was almost enough to calm his nerves down enough and maybe it would be just what the girl needed to learn her lesson. He wanted to try and not kill her right away, almost as if it were more of a game for him than it was for her. She was just a pawn in his game while he was the one who played her and decided when he was willing to sacrifice her for his own gain. He didn't want to do it right away. He wanted to keep this pawn still standing for now.
He slowly took a few steps towards her and towered over the girl, moving his head from side to side and tsking at her as if she were a child who had put her hand in the cookie jar. Before he could say or do anything else he saw her foot coming at him and although he probably could have tried to move out of the way, he didn't even move. When her foot connected with his knee he collapsed down onto that knee and reached for it as he howled out in pain! Or at least that's what he wanted her to think he was doing.
The pain was fake. The outcry that he did was also fake. It felt like nothing more than a simple tap to him. It was one of the perks of being what he was. Gargoyles weren't weak the way that humans were. It took more to make them feel pain. It took even more than that to cut through their thick skin.
He reached for her ankle when she tried to get up, trying to wrap his fingers around it and yank her back towards him. "Did you really think you could hurt me?" He asked and started to smirk to himself. This would be fun.

For a brief second Alyson had a glimmer of hope that she would get out of there! Her kick was aimed perfectly, and he went down to the ground, crying out in pain. She was scrambling to get to her feet, but something stopped her before she could even get up, forcing her to crash back to the ground, clawing at it as she tried to get up. Alyson bucked where she was, her hands and one knee still on the ground as she struggled to free herself of his strong grasp on her ankle.
The girl screamed her frustration as her hands slipped from under her. She continued to shake her leg violently, grunting as she did so, trying to get herself away from him. This was it... the end of the road for her. It was like Alyson was seeing her life slip away. There would be no husband, no kids, no house...no more Christmas dinners with her family in Texas. No more classes or movies or shopping trips. No more late hours at The Lilly Pad or going over design ideas with her boss. No more study sessions at Dylan's Cafe, workouts at the gym, contemplating getting a pet cat or not. This was it. He was smarter than her, stronger than her, and faster than her. She had no phone, no way of getting in touch with anyone and even if she did she had no idea where she even was! No one would find her and she was as good as dead. She had no choice but to accept her fate.
But she just couldn't. She screamed again in her frustration, tears making her eyes red as she refused to give up despite her feelings of defeat. It just couldn't end this way! "Let me GO!" She shrieked, not giving up despite how tired her leg was. Adrenaline was pumping hard through her veins and even though she knew she had to, she wasn't ready to give up. "Please! Please just let me go!"

Adrenaline was something that nobody could explain. It gave a person courage and strength. Someone who could hardly do a pull up with enough pure adrenaline could pick up one side of a car a few centimeters from the ground if they had to. This seemed to be what was happening with Aly since Sebastian was having a difficult time keeping a hold on her.
"Fighting's only going to make you tired faster!" He snapped at the girl and let go of her leg. Let her run. Let her scream and fight him. It was only more fun for him and he would win. He always won. He had plans for her and it wasn't for her to leave.
Sebastian got up to his feet and stood there watching her as she would surely be scrambling up to her feet as quick as possible. "We can play this game of cat and mouse as much as you wish. You can run through this building screaming from the top of your lungs but I will get you." He sounded quite sure of himself.
If she ran and managed to somehow get to the exit of the building he'd just jump. He'd let her think she was home free and then he'd appear just outside of the door and drag her back up.
Maybe he shouldn't have put her on the couch. Maybe he should have just locked her up first thing. Then they wouldn't be rolling around playing this little game. He reached for her curly blonde hair, wanting to get it between his fingers and make a fist. If he could just grab hold of it he would have her.

Finally he let her go and she stumbled even though she was already on the ground, face planting into the floor. She hardly felt it though as she scrambled to her feet, sliding a little. Her very life depended on getting away! Literally. "We can play this game of cat and mouse as much as you wish. You can run through this building screaming from the top of your lungs but I will get you."
She didn't care what he said. If she could get out she could at least tell someone to watch her, or find someone to call the police for her. She didn't have to be his victim! Sure she would always be looking over her shoulder, but she could also leave the city. She always had a home in Texas. Quiet, simple Texas.
She ran hard and fast down the hallway, not bothering to look over her shoulder. She reached the door, opened it and slammed it behind her as she raced down the hallway towards the stairwell. Alyson burst through the door and went so quickly down the steps that she tripped a few times. Fortunately she was holding both banisters which prevented her from actually tumbling down the steps. Had they been on the top floor? There were so many steps! Each flight seemed like an eternity as she raced towards her freedom.
She reached the bottom finally and ran towards the exit. So close to freedom.. It was almost there! She could taste it! When she got out of the building she took a deep breath of the fresh, night air, filling her lungs. She would scream bloody murder until someone helped her!

Sebastian watched the girl hit her face on the floor and then get right back up. Humans were such resilient creatures that it was almost entertaining to watch them. The way they flailed around and banged into things when they were scared. They didn't know how to think straight when they were filled with fear. Something that the Gargoyle Guardians had been taught at a young age. You wouldn't catch them unable to think, they knew how to act on the spot.
He let her go out the door and he even casually walked to the door and opened it back up after she had slammed it shut. He listened and he could hear her stumbling to try and get down the stairs and then smirked. He was glad that she wasn't going around banging on doors or else he'd have to kill some of his neighbors.
Sebastian went back inside and made a b-line straight towards the other side of the condo to the windows. Their condo had so many large windows to give them such a great view! Sometimes he drew back the curtains and would just stand there and stare out at the city down below. But tonight he drew the curtains for another reason. Turning the latch on the window he opened it up wide and then left foot first he climbed out onto the ledge.
Because of the height of the condos, there was a slight breeze which chilled his bare torso. He started to walk along the ledge away from the window and towards the center, knowing that if he jumped off the ledge in front of the window he'd land too close to blue mailbox. He'd landed on it once.
When he got to the point on the ledge he wanted he jumped off with ease and began to plummet down towards the ground. Just before hitting the ground he stuck his hand out and it caught on another ledge that was just above the first floor. He held onto it and put his feet against the wall, hanging there like he was some sort of monkey!
He didn't have to wait long to see that curly head of blond hair just below him come barging out of the doors. Before she could run or try anything he kicked off the side of the building and dropped down just in front of her. His right hand wrapped around the back of her head and he pulled her to him and brought his own face close to meet her, kissing her before she could let out a scream. He hoped the shock of it would stop her from screaming.
Permission to powerplay from Aly.

Before a sound could pour from her mouth, he was there in front of her, making her heart practically seize in her chest. How? How had he gotten down there so quickly? She had run faster than she had ever run in her life. There was no way an elevator could have beaten her down there! Even if it had, how had he managed to climb up so he could drop in front of her?
Her mind didn't have a moment to even truly process it before his arm was wrapped around her face and his mouth was on hers. She struggled against him, wriggling and trying to beat on his chest, but it was useless. He had her. He'd won. She didn't know how, but in this one act he had proved one thing to her; he would, in fact, get her. She had no doubt no matter what she tried next, he would have her.
She refused to kiss back, trying to pull her face away, but the effort it had taken to struggle against him in the apartment and then to run her way back into his arms, had left her tired and weary. The adrenaline could only work for so long before her body would naturally begin to give out. The tears came silently, moistening her eyes and trickling down her cheek. She wanted to go home, but then the sick words rang in her mind. "Welcome to your new home" She would probably never see her home again.
Her body eased up in his hold, the fight slipping away from her, at least for the moment. Could nobody see how distraught she was? Did nobody realize she was being held there against her will? Maybe because to anyone looking she seemed like a girl kissing her boyfriend, but it wasn't that way at all. It took all she had but she gave it one last shot, struggling against him, screaming against his lips, desperately trying to get someone, anyone, to hear her plea!
