Jack is quiet, but an all around good guy. That doesn't mean he doesn't have enemies, though, but he's not afraid of confrontation. He can get a girl when he wants to, but usually he's focused on work. Hey I have two characters that I can offer you. One is Lionel he's a blurr creature that is a really good guy that is some one who always has some one's back no matter what.
My second one is Rava she's an elemental and a young girl, in her twenties but she is looking for a fresh start because her ex cheated on her and was horrible to her. So she's come to Scriptor Bay for a fresh start. She's a nice person as well but tends to hang out with the bad crowed.

I could Lionel and Jack being friends. Jack is a really good guy, and I think Lionel is too. In fact, I could see the two of them being really good buddies.
As for Rava, I'm not entirely sure how these two would know each other. I think it's possible once they met, Jack would like her, but he's 10 years older than her. He would feel a little odd being around a beautiful woman so much younger than him. I'd like to see these two in action, though. They're so different, it might be interesting!

With Lionel it sounds cool. The reason I put Rava on the board is because I'm trying to get her started  So.. But I can create something with Rava quickly if your interested.. that same goes for Lionel as well. |

I'm going to offer Calera as a.. not really a friend but maybe one of those people that you can rely on if ever there's a need. Calera has no problem with the police and in fact she wishes they were more involved with Gargoyle community but she knows that couldn't happen. So if ever there was anything happening in the gargoyle community where the police were involved (of course they'd just think they were humans), she might be a decent informant if she knows anything. Lemme know what you think!

I think Jack and Emma should know each other. He could have been the arresting officer for the few times she got caught shop lifting! Maybe he ends up being the one catching her in trouble so much that they're on a first name basis. I could totes see them as weird acquaintances.

Calera--I love it. I could see Jack going to her for information on what's going on with cases involving Gargoyles or vice versa. They have similar personalities from what I can gather, too, so they could probably be decent friends. Maybe he had a crush on her in the past and just never pursued it.
Emma--I love this idea. Every time she gets arrested, he just happens to find out and gives her a hard time. They'd totes be on a first name basis.
