Features: Jack has a strong, square jaw and a prominent nose which make his features more masculine. He also prefers to keep a short beard, finding he looks better with one than without one. His hair is a little longer which gives him a bit of an unkempt look, but it goes well with his personality. He stands at 6’6” and is very muscular, making him an imposing figure. He also has a permanent tan that Jersey Shore boys would kill to have, but it’s just his natural skin tone.

Flaws/Weaknesses: Jack can be a hot head when he sees the strong preying on the weak. He can also be too serious and too quiet, lacking a lot of fun in his life. He takes the weight of the world on his shoulders when it’s not really necessary.
Skills/Strengths: Physically, he’s incredibly strong. He has keen senses most of the time, but they’re extremely heightened near the full moon. He’s very kind beneath his imposing exterior and quite smart too. Jack is incredibly loyal and protective of those he cares for, making him an excellent person to be close to.

History: Jack grew up in Scriptor Bay. His parents, Vito and Elizabeth, were both Therians, his father a wolf and his mother a tiger. Elizabeth herself descended from the Native American tribe who originally settled in Scriptor Bay. Vito was a lumberjack and Elizabeth an elementary school teacher. They lived modestly, perhaps more on the poorer side, but they were happy. When Jack was five, he got a little sister, Andrea, and two years after that, another little sister, Isabella. Jack adored Andy and Izzy and became fiercely protective of them. His mother and father encouraged this behavior and were happy their children were so close. Until he was eleven, the family was a close knit unit and perfectly normal but for the monthly shifts his parents went through.
A tragic accident ended that for them, however. Out in the woods one day, Vito was working on fastening a load of logs to the flatbed of a truck. Before he could complete the job, the driver misunderstood a command and began driving. Vito jumped off the side of the truck, but it went over a set of bumps, sending the forty foot long logs crashing off the bed of the truck. Vito was crushed beneath the logs and rushed to the hospital. The family was just in time for Vito to tell his wife he loved her one last time and to wheeze one last word to his son: “Protect.” From that moment on, Jack did just that.
Jack became the man of the house, and he took this role seriously. As soon as he was old enough, he got a job to help his mother out, and he did all he could to help raise his sisters. He helped them with their homework and protected them from the bullies at school. He took on all the responsibilities he could that once belonged to his father. It was no surprise to his mother when after his first mutare, he took the form of a wolf, just like his father. She was fiercely proud of her son, though she was afraid he was growing up too fast. In a lot of ways, Jack was much too serious for the other boys his age. He was reserved, but his involvement in sports introduced him to a lot of friends. He was well-liked by both his peers and his teachers, though naturally there were the occasional troublemakers who didn’t like him. The bigger he got, the less those troublemakers approached him, especially since he was known to hold his own in a fight. He came across other students being bullied and he defended them without hesitation, hating to see his peers put others down solely for their entertainment.
His senior year of high school at a career fair, he resolved he would become a police officer. Again, this did not shock his mother; he was so intent on fulfilling his promise to his father, and protecting came so naturally to him anyway, it seemed like the perfect job for him. He got a degree in history from Greenewolf University before joining the academy. SBPD was happy to accept such a physically intimidating man and one so dedicated to the job, and he began to rise high almost immediately. By the time he was 24, he made detective and has continued in that position ever since. His sisters moved from Scriptor Bay to Portland to start their own lives away from their hometown, but he still sees them often and checks up on them regularly. He sees his mother every Sunday for dinner and he continues to take care of her financially.
