Features: Although short, he is toned. Tae has the usual brown eyes and black hair as most Koreans do. He stands at about 5'8". His hair is always spiked and he looks like a punk with his cut off leather jackets or flat brimmed hats and sagging pants.

Ethnicity: Mostly Korean. Has bits of Chinese and White ancestry.
Marks/Tattoos/Visible Scars: He has a tattoo on his left shoulder of, ironically, a Virgin Mary holding a baby girl. He has a permanent "lightning" scar on his back from abusing his electricity skills.

Flaws/Weaknesses:He definitely has ADHD. Never stops jumping off the walls and is constantly hyper. He gets distracted easily, and is very gullible. He will fall for anything, especially if it involves something new! He can come on a little strong, but is just eager to make friends.
Skills/Strengths: He knows Martial Arts and is quick on his feet. He has a high endurance and speed. He loves smiling and laughing. Making people happy and getting them to laugh is the most significant thing to Tae. He's not one to say no, loves to please. He is respectful, and can fit his personality to those around him. Not in a fake way, but in an acceptable, respectful manner.

History: Tae Lin Kohng was an accident. Mr. and Mrs. Kohng had already been married when he was conceived and came to them as a pleasant surprise.
From his birth, Tae had been around happiness. He grew up well, some would say. His parents spoiled him, kept him happy and laughing. His mother, a Geomancer, made him all his food from scratch. She was the best cook in his life. His father, a Elementalist, taught him everything he knows. Including Martial Arts. As soon as he could stand, Mr. Kohng began training him. His first word, other than momma and dada, was more of a grunt. It was the fighting sound Mr. Kohng made whenever he would kick, punch or throw. He was a very smart baby, but constantly distracted. Due to this, he had to learn quickly, so his brain wouldn't wander off towards another subject.
But then again, everything in his life was fast. It was obvious that he would master Electricity.
By his pre-teen years, Tae had mastered his fighting skills. His father even taught him how to fight with his powers. Chants could go along with the normal moves of most Martial Arts. All the basics were like heartbeats to him. There after he just worked on gaining muscle and strength. He only progressed in school as well. He had many friends, most of whom were girls. They were just easier to get along with, it seemed. It wasn't until he turned 15 that he came out of the closet. He was attracted to boys, not girls. It was just that way. His parents didn't have a problem with that, of course. They were not strict in the least. People didn't torment him in school because they were simply afraid of being beat up. All talk was behind his back. Which, of course, he was too gullible to pick up. So his life was blissful throughout his school days.
When college hit it was different. Tae had to go through many fights to get people to leave him, and his sexuality alone. He didn't mind fighting, in fact it was the one area he loved to show off in. He was known widely by freshman year. He was gay and proud, and if anyone had a problem with that, they could bring it up with him. Now, most people realized he's a great guy to be around! He has more friends than enemies. He is trying to get a degree in Engineering. With his knowledge and natural power, he believes he can excel at any job with that degree.
RP Sample:
Left, right, SWING! His foot made contact with the dummy. It jerked sideways from the hit, toppling over onto the ground. The weighted dummy was supposed to stay standing, but Tae Lin got a little carried away. Huffing and puffing from his workout in his father's basement, Tae picked up the dummy once again. Sweat was practically pouring down his body. Despite his perspiration, his father clapped a hand on Tae's shoulder. A broad grin was spread across his face. "Well done, son!" A bright, cheery smile found Tae's expression. He bowed, his fist pressed to his hand as he did so. The formal salute to a master. "Now with water."
Immediately, Tae took his fighting stance."Waves over current!" He chanted proudly, as if it was a war battle cry. He lashed out with his right hand towards the dummy, but instead of his flesh making contact, a wall of water rushed up and smacked into the abused surface. It sent the heavy object surfing into the opposite wall. "Condense sphere." He mumbled as quickly as he ran. Tae Lin was there a split second later, in his hand a swirling ball of water. His hand jerked down, but suddenly the sphere disappeared into rain droplets. Tae's hand made contact instead and he howled in pain. His wrist was not supposed to catch any tension with this awkward blow. The water was supposed to block the hit. He sighed and stood, shaking his head and looking only at his feet. He had much to learn.
His dad seemed to read his thoughts, "You have much to learn, Lin. But do not fret, there is plenty of time." Tae looked up to see a smiling, supportive father. He smiled then, too, and spoke "Thank you, father. How about lunch?" Tae was starving. His excitement spiked and soon enough, food was all he could think about. He ran past his dad, unable to wait for an answer,and dashed up the stairs. Who knew what his mother was fixing him upstairs?
