"Everything is just... brighter. It's beautiful. The sun makes everything warmer, and you have to be careful not to get burned. The birds chirp more.. people are out more, especially kids." Well he didn't like kids, they were loud and annoying not to mention they smelled bad and were always dirty. "What would you do? What would you do if you could have a day?" He turned his cold grey eyes to her once more and watched her features, going over her face and landing on her eyes. She was watching him and waiting for an answer.
What would you do if you could have a day? It was a question that he didn't know how to answer. What wouldn't he do? One thing he was sure he would do would be to get rid of the gargoyles he couldn't stand. He'd kick each and every last one of them off the top of the highest buildings in Scriptor Bay. He'd be sure that they'd never see another night. He'd find Alyson and spend the day with her. He'd wanted to take her out during the day, to do whatever she wanted that she couldn't do at night. He'd take a stroll down the pier. He didn't know what life was like during the day except for what he saw it portrayed as. He didn't know what the warmth of the sun felt like or what it was like to get a sun burn. But these were all things that he didn't want to tell her. He couldn't show that side of him.
"I would get a tan." He said simply and then looked out the window just a little longer before shaking his head. "There's a ring out there that can let us walk when the sun is out.. and someone out there has it. I have a lot of enemies. Most people out there don't like me and I'm willing to bet that if any of them could get their hands on that ring then I wouldn't have a chance in hell. It's better safe than sorry." There he was talking about that ring again and it only pissed him off more and he abruptly shut the drapes to keep the lights of the city out.
"I'm pretty sure if I could walk during the day I'd be as human as you. The story goes we get our power from the night or moon, whatever." He rolled his eyes not caring which it was. "The sun weakens us. The longer it's dark the stronger we become. So I could only assume that if we were out during the day we'd be as good as human. A little fun fact for you."

"I would get a tan." Aly rolled her eyes and made a noise that was somewhere between a scoff and a laugh. He would tan? Doubtful. Though she wouldn't be surprised if he did make his way to the beach to watch all the woman sunbathing. "I'm sure." She teased softly staring out the window and wrapping her arms around herself as she stood close to him, but not so close they would touch.
He began talking about the ring again and she paid close attention. Why would they make only one of this ring? How did it work? Could they make more? What would happen if the Gargoyles could walk during the day? She had so many questions, but she stayed quiet. If she learned one thing from him, it was that he didn't like when she asked too many questions. IT tended to annoy him and make him spout out snide remarks and she just didn't want that from him.
"I'm pretty sure if I could walk during the day I'd be as human as you. The story goes we get our power from the night or moon, whatever." She was watching him again, her thumbs hooking under the suspenders and tugging them lightly away from her body as she listened. Would he lose his strength? Would his skin soften? "The sun weakens us. The longer it's dark the stronger we become. So I could only assume that if we were out during the day we'd be as good as human. A little fun fact for you." That sort of answered he questions, but she had a feeling even he wouldn't have real, honest answers.
"And that's what you want? To be human?" She asked raising a brow, her tone serious before she grinned a little. "You couldn't break into stores at the mall as easily." She teased, "Or throw random girls over your shoulder and bring them home. You would lose the ability to do all those things you do." She taunted, her thumbs sliding up and down under the suspenders, still stretching them away from her body. "And what fun would that be?" She smirked at him and chuckled softly, looking out the window and sighing. "Maybe they'll make more rings." She suggested.

"And that's what you want? To be human?" When she put it that way.. "You couldn't break into stores at the mall as easily. Or throw random girls over your shoulder and bring them home. You would lose the ability to do all those things you do." He hadn't seen it from that perspective and he didn't care for this point of view at all. "And what fun would that be?" None whatsoever.
"Maybe they'll make more rings." He realized that she was trying to be nice, to try and assure him that what he was missing out on might not be all that bad. Sebastian turned his body to face her and cupped her face in both of his hands, pulling her forward as he closed the distance between them and mashed his lips firmly against hers. He didn't care if she was ready for it or not because it was happening and his fingers slid to the back of her head getting lost in her curly blonde hair for a short moment before he released her and pulled back to look at her. His breathing had picked up and his eyes looked a little wild staring at her almost as if he was trying to figure out why he'd just done that. And instead of mentioning it he decided to just answer what she'd been saying.
"The reason I break in is because they're closed at night. And we don't know who made the ring otherwise we'd get more. But then who wants something that everyone already has? There's no fun in it if there are no gargoyles to shove over the ledge." He said and reached up to rub his fingers down his the side of his face, almost like he didn't know what else to do.
"I want what I can't have. That's how I've always been. Once I get it I become bored and want more." Sebastian was never satisfied. He always wanted more. That was what drew him to Alyson still, he wanted to fuck her into oblivion but if he did he was sure that would be the end of it. There would be nothing left for him to strive for, nothing taboo and he'd likely drop her.

When he grabbed her face and kissed her, Alyson immediately fought him, her hands coming to his chest and pushing against him out of instinct, but the fight wasn't strong and lasted only a second, at most. She calmed down, her hands tightening into fists in his shirt as she let out a small whimper of defeat. The kiss didn't last long though, and he was pulling away, leaving her breathless and wanting for more. Why did he make her feel this way? How? How had he swayed her so easily? He looked unsure himself and she sucked hr bottom lip in, grateful when he spoke to break the silence.
"The reason I break in is because they're closed at night. And we don't know who made the ring otherwise..." He wasn't discussing the kiss. She was glad for that, not sure she could handle that conversation. She didn't need him taunting her for wanting him to do it, for reacting like any normal person might, only that reaction wouldn't have gone with someone who had held you captive and verbally and physically abused you.
Aly wondered if throwing a gargoyle off a roof would kill them, but didn't want to ask. Would they turn into fleshy bits when the sun came up? When they died were they forever in stone state? Their bodies becoming their own tombs? It was a good question, one she might like to know the answer to, but he was talking again and she didn't want to ask. Maybe when she felt more comfortable asking questions like that, when he was in a mood to answer them, which she wasn't entirely sure he was.
"I want what I can't have. That's how I've always been. Once I get it I become bored and want more." She raised a brow. Was that why he liked hanging around her? because she wouldn't allow him to have her? Because she hadn't relented to him trying to control her? "Remind me to never let you have me, then." She teased in a voice that was wavering between taunting and seductive as she turned away and made her way towards her damp clothes; still wet. "Maybe I'll just wear these home and you can get your clothes the next time you see me." She said, peaking over her shoulder at him. "If that's okay."

"remind me to never let you have me, then." He scoffed with an eye roll. It never occurred to him just how much it pertained to her when usually it was for other things like power. He wanted control of his life so he got rid of his father. But then he wanted more. He always wanted more. He wanted Alyson and he would get her one way or another. It was just a matter of when he would get her. He had to admit he enjoyed the little game they played, especially when she fought him and then gave in.
"Maybe I'll just wear these home and you can get your clothes the next time you see me. If that's okay." "Going so soon?" He watched her turn her head to look over her shoulder at him and he couldn't help but just want to go up behind her bend her over and take what he wanted right then. But he restrained himself. It was the fact they were in a hotel room and the bed was right there just taunting him with its presence.
Turning his head to look at her clothes that were still on the heater he reached out and placed his palm against the crotch of her wet jeans and they were in fact still pretty soaked through. They were going to take a while to dry. He could always bring them over with him the next night when he went to her place.
"I'll bring them tomorrow. We have to study, remember?" He teased only assuming that she didn't like to study. Who in their right mind enjoyed studying? But he had a plan to make studying more exciting.

"Going so soon?" She shrugged nonchalantly giving him a coy little grin over her shoulder, not really saying yes or no to his question, just allowing him to think what he wanted on the subject.
"I'll bring them tomorrow. We have to study, remember?" So he assumed she would go. If that was the case she would, even though there was a significant part of her that wanted to stay. It was all a game with them. She wanted to leave because she could and that was the only reason. In reality she really wanted to sit and toy with him all night and see if she could get him to kiss her again. Maybe she would fight harder next time, pretending not to want it. Maybe she would turn away from him all together..
She realized she was silently plotting ways to turn away his much wanted advances. She really was a little screwed up.. "Yes.. studying." She agreed softly making a face. She hated studying but she had a feeling he would make it enjoyable. He had taunted her with saying so earlier.
"You promised to make that interesting. We'll see if you can make good on that promise." She turned to face him, tugging at the suspenders again. "Ir's probably best I go anyway for tonight. I should get my sleep if I'm going to be up all night tomorrow studying. Plus, I'm sure you have better plans for tonight than sitting around your hotel room watching Interview With a Vampire. Think of all the malls you could be robbing instead?" She smirked and let the suspenders snap back against her.
"We'll trade clothes tomorrow." She said gently, her eyes roaming over his torso slightly, recalling how he'd looked without his shirt. She hated how turned on he made her despite everything. Maybe she needed drugs. "I'll keep my window open seeing as that's your preferred form of entrance, but the door is always a good option." She backed to the door, not really wanting to say goodbye. There was a cheesy part of her that wanted him to beg her to stay, but she knew she shouldn't. He wanted what he couldn't have and she needed to make herself unavailable if she wanted him to want her in return.

"Yes.. studying." She said it as if she didn't believe that he was going to help her. Or at least that's how he took those two words. "You promised to make that interesting. We'll see if you can make good on that promise." He smirked at what she said knowing that if anyone could promise a good time while studying it was Sebastian. He could promise a good time in almost any situation. "It's probably best I go anyway for tonight. I should get my sleep if I'm going to be up all night tomorrow studying. Plus, I'm sure you have better plans for tonight than sitting around your hotel room watching interview with a vampire. Think of all the malls you could be robbing instead?" "Such a funny girl," he said flatly but it was clear that he found it amusing the way his lips creased in the corners. He might go bother his sister and try to convince her to go out for a bit. She stayed cooped up with that damn Javier or whatever his name was too much. Sebastian listened to her make another crack about leaving her window open since he didn't like to use doors. It was a habit of his and it made it easier for him to go out without being seen if he just used the window. Nobody ever expected that. He moved closer to her and reached a hand out to run his fingers through her hair one last time for the night. He wanted her to stay but knew it was probably best she just went home instead. "I'll see you tomorrow night," he told her and planted a little peck on her forehead before he let her leave. Thread Complete
