"You realize how creepy that sounded, right?" It was like she had read his mind and he couldn't keep himself from chuckling at her voicing his thoughts, giving a light nod of his head. "If you don't, then I'm quite worried about you." This was the most he'd smiled since he'd met the woman and he nodded again. "Trust me I thought that before I said it," he explained to her to be sure she knew just how uncreepy he was trying to be. It just happened to come out that way.
He was unsure which way she was going to swing, yes or no, but then she agreed to it. He just didn't want to see her going out alone without someone there to watch over her. He didn't even need to actually be with her but just in the area if that made her feel better. He could stay out of sight so she wouldn't even know he was there. But he chose not to say that knowing that it would probably just make it sound like he was good at stalking people.
"Is there anything else you want to ask me before I leave? I'm probably going straight from here to find Josephs. I'll come back the night after next." He shook his head no, "there's nothing else yet, but if I think of anything I'll be sure to remember it for the next time I see you," he said and watched her. The woman seemed like she could be a real hard ass but at the same time like she had a soft side, and he felt like she was showing him a little bit of both sides of her which he enjoyed.
As far as her being boring.. he knew he could handle that. He was a pretty boring person himself and staying indoors doing a whole lot of nothing was a good night in his opinion. "I'll see you soon," he said and watched her leave. Hopefully things would work out and he'd be able to get out to enjoy her boring lifestyle.
