Kevin was more than happy that Melanie decided she wasn't done kissing him and that she took the initiative to move forward next. He felt a surge of electricity rip through him as they kissed, his lips parting when hers did and allowing her tongue to glide against his. He felt like he could easily get carried away with the way she kissed him, and he could feel it in all parts of his body. Her whimper sent chills down his spine, only making him want more, and he knew he needed to stop before he did something about the way he was feeling. He didn't want to be tempted to grope her or touch her anywhere she hadn't given him permission to yet, but God how he wanted to. Kevin sighed when she pulled away before he had the chance to, which was probably for the best. Her pecks were met eagerly with his own, smiling against her lips as she did the same. “Yeah, it’s probably a good thing we didn’t do that on the boat,” she said teasingly. "Probably." He agreed with a light chuckle, his hands down at her shoulders now as he grinned at her. “Though I do know of a place we can sneak into to kiss on the boat. If you were ever interested. It’s in the broom closet.” Kevin laughed and shook his head. "Don't tell me that!" He said, his voice full of boyish humor. "Now every time I go on that boat I'm going to think of the broom closet, and that's weird." He admitted leaning in and kissing her again. It was a light kiss but it lingered for a minute before he pulled away again. "Let's keep walking before I get wrapped up in all that again." He pulled a hand away from her shoulder and adjusted himself so she couldn't see, trying to be inconspicuous, but it was sort of obvious. His head turned away from her and towards the crashing water. He kicked his shoes off and then lifted each foot in turn, peeling his socks off. "I like the feel of sand between my toes." He admitted and nodded at her. "You should take your shoes off." He suggested and waited as she did, then took her hand as they began their walk once more down the beach. "Hey.. would it be okay if I borrow your cell?" He asked as they began walking again and he took it when she handed it to him. "Thanks.." He grinned, tucking it inside of his sneaker and dropping it into the sand, reaching for her shoes in her hand as well and dropping them into the sand. "C'mon.." He said playfully, wrapping his arms around her bravely and picking her up a little in case she fought him and began his trek to the ocean. "We're going swimming!" He blurted out, fully prepared not to take no for an answer, and to carry her into the water if he had to. They were doing this, clothes and all! Kevins thoughts ♥♥♥

Melanie giggled more as Kevin laughed, shaking his head with what she had told him. “Don’t tell me that! Now every time I go on that boat I’m going to think of the broom closet, and that’s weird.” She laughed loudly before his lips came back to hers. It was a light kiss, but she reveled in it, smiling against his mouth. “Let’s keep walking before I get wrapped up in all that again.” She nodded with a little sigh, turning away as he adjusted himself, trying not to notice. It made her blush though, and she bit her lip to hold in a giggle. She had to admit, she felt a little smug that she had that effect on him. Before they could get underway, though, he was pulling off his shoes and she looked at him curiously. “I like the feel of sand between my toes.” Melanie grinned, finding his boyishness cute. But who didn’t like the feel of sand between their toes? “You should take your shoes off.” She gave a shrug and lifted one foot. “Okay!” she agreed cheerfully. Her boot came off easily and she peeled her sock off too, before moving to the other one. She stuffed her socks down in the shoes and then took them in one hand as he reached for the other one. A big smile crossed her face as they walked hand-in-hand down the beach, carrying their fishy shoes. “Hey…would it be okay if I borrow your cell?” She looked up at him with wide eyes and then nodded. “Sure! Do you need to call your sister or something?” she inquired, releasing his hand so she could fish her phone out of her back pocket. Maybe he had just left his phone at home. “Thanks…” She watched as he slipped it in his shoe and she laughed. “Hey! You’re going to get it stinky!” she exclaimed playfully, not really meaning it. He took her shoes too and she just watched him, confused. “What are you doing?” she asked with a laugh as he placed their shoes on the sand. “C’mon…” She gasped as his arms came around her and he picked her up off the ground. “We’re going swimming!” He moved toward the water and she squealed as she laughed. “In our clothes?!” she cried, her arms coming over his as they rushed to the ocean. As soon as the water rose up to meet them, it rushed over her feet and shins and she laughed and squealed again. It was still early in the summer, so the water was still surprisingly cool. The further in they moved, the more she laughed and she didn’t even mind they were in their clothes. She hoped when they got out, her shirt wouldn’t cling too much and show her wings, but she was having too much fun to really worry about it. She would think of something to say. Maybe it would be the truth for once… A large wave came rolling in and she jumped into it, letting it carry her to the top before she sank back to her feet and turned to face Kevin with a huge grin. “You’re insane,” she laughed, loving this boyish behavior of his. “But at least now I won’t smell like fish.” She waded out further, pulling him along now, grinning as she did so. When they were out so that the water was up to her chest, she brought her hands in front of her, lacing her fingers together and squirting water up through her hands and splashing Kevin in the face. She laughed loud, moving further away so he couldn’t exact retribution. “Gotcha!” she announced triumphantly and keeping her eyes on him as she moved away. In truth she was afraid to risk turning around and heaving him see her wings, but it also kept him in her sights so he couldn’t try anything funny. She was having a blast. __________________________________________________ Mel's thoughts!

“In our clothes?!” she cried out and he smiled, rushing her into the water. "What, you afraid of a little water?" He teased playfully, feeling himself getting weighed down by the waves as they crashed into him. Her squeals of laughter were music to his ears and he felt like a kid again. He wanted to bottle this feeling and forever remember the way she sounded when she laughed like that. He wished he could make his sister laugh that deeply, but it was hard to do.
Soon they were deep enough so that the water rose to Melanie's bust and he could let go a little, jumping the waves together. He smiled at her brightly, glad she was not only a good sport, but having fun. “You’re insane,” she laughed, "And you're pretty." He said back quickly, grinning brightly. “But at least now I won’t smell like fish.” He laughed and shook his head. "No you'll just smell like their toilet." He teased back as she squirted him. “Gotcha!” she announced moving away from him, which he noted was a wise move.
Kevin's jaw dropped like he was offended that she would splash him. "Oh.. oh you want to play like that, do you?" He asked raising a brow. Kevin wasn't a good swimmer; he had never taken lessons and the most swimming he had ever done was in the creeks and rivers near the places he grew up. He could easily count how many times he swam in a pool on his fingers, but Kevin also had long, powerful legs and since he was nearly a foot taller than Melanie, he wasn't submerged as much.
He took long strides to catch her, jumping and dog paddling against the waves to catch up. "You can run, but you can't hide you know! Give up!" He called as she retreated. Finally he lunged forward, grabbing her and pulling her close. "Hold your breath!" He commanded right before pulling them under as a wave passed over them. He was coming back up for air almost immediately, feeling like he was in some sort of crazy romance movie or something. It really felt that way, and like any guy would do in that moment, he pressed his lips to Melanie's, tasting the ocean on them. She was salty and sweet at the same time, and his bright, wide grin made it hard to make the kiss deep and sensual.
"You still stink like fish." He teased as he pulled away, laughing and splashing her before doing his own retreat. "Betcha can't catch me.." He taunted, splashing at her again before backing away more, baiting her to come get him.

Melanie giggled as Kevin’s jaw dropped playfully, staring at her like she’d offended him. “Oh…oh you want to play like that, do you?” He came after her and she squealed as she fought her way away from him. Kevin was much taller than her, though, and she just barely managed to slip away from him a couple times. “You can run, but you can’t hide you know! Give up!” Her laughter was loud and childlike as she escaped again. “Never!” she cried in a triumphant voice. Finally, he did manage to catch her. She squealed as he pulled her to him, but she laughed all the same. “No!” she squeaked playfully, squirming in his grasp as she laughed. “Hold your breath!” Melanie did, shutting her eyes as she saw the wave coming. Kevin pulled them under it, submerging her still bound up hair completely as the wave passed over them. She was still smiling, though, and when they came right back up, she giggled breathlessly, wiping the water out of her face.
Before she knew it, Kevin’s lips were on hers and she was smiling as wide as he was as she tasted the salt on his mouth. It was so perfect, she made a mental note in her head to remember this forever. This was the most fun she had ever had with anybody. Kevin was so playful and childlike and it suited the two of them perfectly. Her hands came to his face as he kissed her, giggling into his mouth. When he pulled away, she was still smiling wide. “You still stink like fish.” Her jaw dropped, gasping even though she was smiling. “You stink!” she retorted with childish accusation. He splashed her and she squealed again, putting her hands up to block her face. She looked back at him, her jaw still slack. “Betcha can’t catch me…” She splashed him back when he splashed her this time, laughed as he backed away. “You better run!” she threatened as he moved away from her.
Before he got too far, she went to full on swimming after him, the depth too much for her to run well in. Another wave came in and carried her up with it, leaving her feeling exhilarated for a moment. When she caught up to Kevin she laughed as she grabbed a fistful of his wet shirt. “Gotcha!” she cried, pulling herself close to him. They were deeper waters now and her feet couldn’t touch anymore, but she was a strong swimmer. “Hold your breath!” she echoed him, but this time, she pushed his head underwater and kept hers up high and a small wave passed over them. She didn’t hold his head down like she used to do to Brandon, though, and laughed as he came back up. Being in deeper water, she was floating closer to his face than she normally would, making it easy for her to push the hair out of his face and link her arms around his powerful shoulders. She kissed him again, this time more sensually through her small smile. Her tongue flicked across his lips, tasting the salt there and tried to fight back the smile as she did so.
Just as her lips closed back against his, a wave came crashing into them, knocking them both to the side slightly as it did so, submerging them for a moment. When it was past, she laughed against his lips and pushed the water from her eyes as she pulled back. Her eyes met his as she brought her arms back around him, smiling. “You’re cute, even if you stink,” she said softly and playfully. She pressed her lips to his again briefly, giggling as she did so. When she pulled away, she pushed more hair out of his face, smiling bright.

Melanie was faster than she looked in the water. Clearly she was an experienced swimmer, and though he moved quickly through the waves, it soon became evident that he couldn't evade her. He felt her grab his shirt, stopping him from going any further without dragging her along and let out a deep yelp, dramatically stopping and flailing in the water, obviously playing around. “Gotcha!” she cried out, wrapping herself around him and he couldn't help but laugh. "Dangit.."
“Hold your breath!” He laughed as she pushed his head under water. He could easily fight her and not let her dunk him, but he played along, letting her shove his head down into the salty sea. No sooner had he come up, she was sweeping his hair from his face and kissing him again, both of them grinning from the fun they were enjoying together. Kevin wrapped his arms easily around her lower back, praying she didn't feel the slight bulge forming in his pants. He couldn't help himself, and not even the chilly waters stopped nature from taking its course. She was kissing him! In the ocean! It felt like a fairy tale, like all those cheesy romance movies he teased women for watching.
A wave came and knocked into them, pushing him a little with her in his arms and submerging them once more. He laughed with her and graciously accepted her lips against him once more, adoring the feel of her fingers sweeping the sticking hair from his forehead. “You’re cute, even if you stink,” she said softly and playfully before pecking his lips once more. His stomach squirmed as he smiled and in that moment he had the deep feeling that he met her. The one. The one he wanted to marry.
"Stink!" He scoffed and then shook his head. "Alright, you win. I'm a smelly guy, but yah know what? It's not gonna stop me from kissing you.. You're just gonna have to deal." He hugged his arms tighter around her and kissed her harder, like he had when they had gotten onto the beach, feeling her legs wrap around him as he hiked her higher, not wanting her to feel how excited she had gotten him. His tongue pushed at her lips, invading her mouth as another wave crashed into them, making him laugh softly into her mouth. "I think the oceans messing with our flow." He said softly into her mouth, his damp, sticky forehead pressed against hers. He shook his head and sighed, "Is your brother going to murder me when you get home soaking wet?" He asked, nuzzling her cheek with his nose and kissing her jaw, finding it easy to show physical affection towards her. How had he shied at her hug that first night?

“Stink!” Melanie giggled as Kevin scoffed and shook his head, watching him as he did so. “Alright, you win. I’m a smelly guy, but yah know what? It’s not gone stop me from kissing you…you’re just gonna have to deal.” She giggled more as his arms hugged her tighter, smiling at first when his lips came back to hers. It was a hard kiss, though, and her smile quickly faded as her legs wrapped around him under the water, his hands hiking her up. She was clinging to him, her heart pounding as his tongue quickly found its way back into her mouth, making her hot despite the cold water. It had been a long time since she had felt the urge she felt now, but Kevin made her belly burn with excitement, especially with that tongue of his. Her face was a deep red and her heart was throbbing hard as her hands buried in the hair at the base of his head. Another wave crashed into them and she laughed with him into his mouth, her eyes still closed. “I think the ocean’s messing with our flow.” His forehead pressed against hers, and she kept her eyes closed as she smiled and nodded with a soft laugh. It felt so beyond perfect to be nestled against him like this, wrapped around him as he kissed her. For just a moment, her fingers running through his hair, she wondered if maybe, just maybe, she had found the one person she had traveled the world hoping to find. Maybe she had found the one she was meant to be with for the rest of her life. Kevin certainly seemed perfect for her.
When he shook his head and sighed, she smiled wide, opening her eyes a little. “Is your brother going to murder me when you get home soaking wet?” She laughed a little and then felt her breath catch at the feel of his nose nuzzling her and his lips at her jaw. A quiet sound between a sigh and a whimper left her before she smiled again, nuzzling her nose against his cheek too. “No, he’ll just throw you in the ocean on Saturday,” she said nonchalantly. She looked at him again, letting her eyes flit up to the sky as she shrugged cutely. “No big deal,” she said as her eyes came back to his and she smiled wide. There was a magnetic pull between their lips, and hers came back to his again. This time she was the passionate one, her lips meshing with his once more as her tongue darted out to meet his. She felt dizzy with the adrenaline rush it gave her, shooting from her head all the way down to her toes. It was delightful, thrilling, and in a way, terrifying. She didn’t know what to do with how he made her stomach twist and her heart jump. She couldn’t stop the soft sound in her throat as her fingers weaved in his wet hair.
A little suddenly, she pulled away with a little sigh, hugging his neck tight and hiding her face between his neck and her arm. “I’m sorry, I’m getting carried away,” she said with a smile, her forehead pressed to his neck. She was embarrassed for how she was acting and she didn’t know if she could look at him without blushing. A wave crashed over them again, as if to cool her down, and she laughed as she pulled back from his neck, smiling at him again. She bit her bottom lip momentarily, studying his reaction. “I just…it’s been a long time since I did this whole…romance thing. I don’t really know what I’m doing or if it’s okay.” Her face was bright pink and she glanced to his lips again before giving a breathy, nervous laugh, her eyes coming back to his. “I just like kissing you.” Her smile was unsure and sweet, hoping she wasn’t moving too fast for him or making him uncomfortable. The way he made her burn…it was hard to resist, and she was afraid she was the only one who felt that way.

“No, he’ll just throw you in the ocean on Saturday, No big deal,” She was smiling which made him think she was playing with him, but Kevin couldn't be sure. He didn't ask, though. He would find out on Saturday when Brandon either tossed him overboard or left him alone. He smiled back though, shaking his head at her which made a few wet strands of hair come loose from their position and sprawl in weird directions over his forehead.
When her lips met his again he didn't object, holding her closer still and allowing his mouth to work eagerly against hers. It had been a long time since he felt like this for a girl. Sure, he'd had his fair share of one nighters over the years, but Melanie? This was something special. She was special. It wasn't about making out, there was more to her. She was the whole package!
All too quickly she was pulling away and burying her face into his neck, leaving him gasping for air and unsure what he'd done wrong. “I’m sorry, I’m getting carried away,” Kevin insisted with a laugh, glad it wasn't something he'd done that prompted her reaction. "No, you... you don't need to apologize.." He offered before a wave crashed into them again, knocking him a few feet to the side.
“I just…it’s been a long time since I did this whole…romance thing. I don’t really know what I’m doing or if it’s okay. I just like kissing you.” He could see how unsure she was and embarrassed to admit it all and Kevin couldn't help the tingling in his stomach. Was it too soon to know he loved her?
"I think youre doing a fine job, actually.." He offered bashfully, reaching a hand up to wipe the hair from her face. "Look, there's.. there's really no rule book for this sort of stuff so.. I guess as long as you're okay with it and I'm okay with it, it's okay, right? And.. I'm okay with this kissing thing. I'm sort of okay with pretty much anything you're okay with, I think. I mean, except for any weird crazy stuff.." He teased, smiling. "I like you, Melanie.. a lot.. more than I've like a girl in a really, really long time and I want to do this right. However fast or slow you want to move, I'm in... I'm game... we can make the rules up as we go, yah know?" He shrugged, chewing on the inside of his bottom lip. He felt uncertain about his confession, but if she didn't want to be with him, well.. she didn't have to. They could play it by ear.
But God did he he hope she wanted to be with him..

“I think you’re doing a fine job, actually…” Melanie felt a little surge of relief and she smiled more as Kevin wiped some hair from her face with his big hand. She really liked his hands. “Look, there’s…there’s really no rule book for this sort of stuff, so…I guess as long as you’re okay with it and I’m okay with it, it’s okay, right? And…I’m okay with this kissing thing. I’m sort of okay with pretty much anything you’re okay with, I think. I mean, except for any weird crazy stuff…” She giggled, nodding her head appreciatively. She wasn’t into that weird crazy stuff either, so it was all good. Her heart was still racing, though, as Kevin continued assuring her it was okay. “I like you, Melanie…a lot…more than I’ve liked a girl in a really, really long time and I want to do this right. However fast or slow you want to move, I’m in…I’m game…we can make the rules up as we go, yah know?” She felt like she could just bust with happiness. Melanie knew she was moving quickly, more quickly than she normally dared, but she didn’t want to slow down, not really. She always tempered herself, held herself back from getting too carried away, but Kevin seemed just as willing to get carried away with her. Could she have already fallen in love with him? Was that crazy? She would stop caring. She could love him all she wanted, as long as she didn’t say it and scare him. Her smile was spread all across her face, bright, bashful and pink.
“I really like you too, Kevin. A lot. Really, I don’t even know if I’ve ever liked anybody this much,” she confessed, biting her lip as she gave a soft, embarrassed giggle. “I like the sound of making our own rules. And I think…I think I’m pretty much game for anything too. I just want to be with you.” Her voice was soft, like she didn’t want the ocean to overhear how much she really liked Kevin. Then again, she could have told the world how much she liked him. Maybe her embarrassment came from the fact that Kevin really couldn’t do anything wrong in her mind. She would do anything with him already and she wouldn’t regret it in the least. Maybe that’s what embarrassed her. Just as she was about to kiss him again a rushing sound caught her attention and she felt a pulling further out to sea. She looked to where the waves we coming in and saw a really big one sweeping toward them. She gasped and held on to Kevin’s shoulders more. “Jump into it!” she instructed with a laugh. When it moved into them, they floated right to the top, making Melanie laugh with exhilaration. It was a really tall wave! And the whole thing passed while she was still in Kevin’s arms.
She looked back at him when it had passed, her smile wide and excited, and she looked to his lips again. It was okay to want to kiss him. He had assured her of that. With another look to his eyes, she kissed him again, pushing the hair out of his face as she did so. It was a sweet slow kiss at first, but it heated up when her hands combed through his hair, pressing against him more. The day was just so perfect, she never wanted it to end.

“I really like you too, Kevin. A lot. Really, I don’t even know if I’ve ever liked anybody this much,” His heart beat harder and he gulped as he smiled. He liked what he was hearing. “I like the sound of making our own rules. And I think…I think I’m pretty much game for anything too. I just want to be with you.” It was all he could possibly have hoped for. He leaned in as she started to, but the rumbling sound of the ocean distracted her and he turned to watch the wave that was heading right for them! “Jump into it!” she instructed with a laugh and Kevin bent his knees and jumped up, letting the wave lift them to the top and then back down, his feet settling back down on the wet, sandy ocean floor.
It didn't take long for her to deposit the kiss the wave had interrupted. It started out slow and then she pulled away, only to come back in full force. Kevin felt that familiar tug in his pants and groaned into her mouth. Even though they had agreed to make their own rules he didn't want to jump right into this just yet. He wanted her, and badly, but not like this, not after having worked all day on her brothers boat, stinking of fish and shoulder high in the ocean.
He kissed her back though, his hands at the small of her back, keeping her close to him as his fingers just barely dipped into the back of her pants. The longer they kissed, the hotter he got until he had to just pull away suddenly, a nervous laugh slipping through his tingling lips.
"I'm afraid if I don't stop then I just won't.. and this isn't an ideal time to not want to stop." It was pretty clear what he'd meant when he said he wanted to stop. "Maybe.. we should head back to shore." He pecked her lips again despite himself and then shook his head. "I was afraid to even look at you the other day and now I can't stop kissing you. It's really hard not to touch you all over, too." He admitted with a shy laugh, moving towards the shore with her.
"Is your brother going to murder me for getting you all wet?" He realized immediately that what he said could be taken in a different way. "In the ocean! Like.. he won't be made I brought you in the ocean, will he?" He asked, gulping his anxietty.

Kevin’s groan set Melanie on fire. She whimpered in return, holding to him tighter as he kissed her harder. His fingers dipped slightly into the back of her pants just slightly and she sighed against his lips. She knew they couldn’t do this here. Not in the ocean with the possibility that people were walking by. Even so, it was impossible to stop kissing him. The fire in her belly spread throughout her body, moving through her like some kind of drug. It made her wish they were somewhere else besides the salty sea. He pulled away suddenly and while she was panting lightly, she was worried she had done something wrong. But he gave a soft laugh and she gave a dazed smile. “I’m afraid if I don’t stop then I just won’t…and this isn’t an ideal time to not want to stop.” She nodded, giving a nervous little laugh of her own. She felt the same way and she didn’t want to get so carried away yet. Maybe they could make their own rules, but she had to keep some mystery. Plus, she didn’t want to look too easy. “Maybe we should head back to shore.” Melanie nodded again and smiled into his soft peck. She untangled herself from him, moving with him back towards the shore.
“I was afraid to even look at you the other day and now I can’t stop kissing you. It’s really hard not to touch you all over, too.” Melanie blushed brighter, giving a soft giggle as her stomach clenched. Of course she knew he wanted her, that much was apparent, but it was nice to hear it all the same. “Ditto,” she said quietly, able to touch her feet to the cool sand again. They moved steadily to the shore, her hand nestling itself in his again. “Is your brother going to murder me for getting you all wet?” She gave a soft smile at his anxiety, not even hearing the double entendre. “In the ocean! Like…he won’t be mad I brought you in the ocean, will he?” Melanie looked up at him a little confused. Of course he meant the ocean, what else…Melanie blushed bright red, realizing what Kevin had overheard in his own words and she gave a bashful laugh, looking down to the water. Well, he had gotten her riled up…She shook her head as she looked up at him with a big smile. “No, he won’t be mad. He’ll think we’re nuts, but he won’t be mad. Actually, he might not even be there when I get in. He’s got a new lady friend, so he might actually be out with her. Either way, he’ll just give me a funny look and shake his head.” She giggled and shrugged her shoulders.
They trudged their way on shore, Melanie pulling her shirt back so she good wring it out, instead of pulling it forward. There was a good chance her shirt was going to stick to her wings and make an odd looking shape on her back, and she didn’t want to explain that right now. Her flat stomach showed some as she did so, but she just avoided looking at Kevin as it did. She knew if he was looking, she would only blush more. When they reached the shore, she rolled up the bottoms of her jeans to avoid getting too much sand on them. They came to her knees now and she sighed. “Well, I’ve got another fifty pounds on me now,” she said playfully, smiling wide at Kevin. They walked to their shoes and she took them in her hand, preferring not to put them on just yet. Her eyes turned up to Kevin and she smiled wide. “So when do I get to see you again?” she asked hopefully.

She was glad that her brother wouldn't murder him. He might cross examine him at some point which would be a little odd, but he wouldn't kill him and that was good news. Plus it worked out that Brandon had some girl on the horizon. Maybe that meant he would be hanging around away from their apartment more!
He walked with her to the sand and tried not to look to much as she wrung her shirt out. He did the same, his own stomach showing a bit. It was really unavoidable. Worse, his pants were heavy with water and sagged a little, showing the top of his boxers and a couple inches of his adonis line.
“Well, I’ve got another fifty pounds on me now,” Kevin laughed and looked down at Melanie pleasantly. She was cute. "Me, too. The weight looks good on you, though." He teased lightly and ran his hand through his hair. It flopped over the top of his head, a few strands sliding down and hanging limply on the either side of his face, a couple stuck to his forehead. “So when do I get to see you again?” she asked as he picked up his shoes. When could she see him? Any damn time she wanted! Of course he didn't want to say that, though.
"Uhm.. Anytime!" He laughed licking his salty lips. "Well, not any time, cause I work and all, but.. I mean, maybe Friday night? Or.. do you have to get up early on Saturday? Wait, of course you do. I do.. unless you don't.." He sighed and shook his head, going off on a nervous tangent when he knew he should just be straight forward. "I'd like to take you out on Friday night if you're available." He asked, a little more calm this time. "I won't have you out late, I promise. Not unless you want me to." He smiled gently, holding his shoes as he walked along the sand towards the entrance to the pier. "Kelsey's gonna kill me for getting the car wet." He noted softly with a laugh as they headed towards the exit together.
