Drew felt some of his fear subside as Maureen’s hand slid to his cheek, her head tilting gently to the side. “Do I look upset?” No, she didn’t. In his relief, a smile melted onto his lips, glancing from her lovely eyes to her soft, small mouth. Her hands cradled his face and he sighed, his eyes slipping shut as he absorbed the feeling. When she pulled his face down to hers, he followed blindly, finding her lips instantly. It was like they’d never pulled apart the way she kissed him, drawing him back into her. This time her body arched up into his and his pants tightened while his heart raced. His arm slid back around her, keeping her against him as he cradled her neck with the other hand. Their tongues danced across one another and her arms snaked around his shoulders. He pressed her more into the wall, longing to touch every inch of her and worship her as she deserved. With every second their mouths and tongues twined, he needed her more.
In a moment her face pulled back from his just barely, their lips still brushing against each other as his eyes slid halfway open. “Take me to bed…” Drew felt all the blood in his body rush to his groin at her quiet plea. For a second he just stared at her, stunned and unable to process the request with all of the blood rushing from one head to the other. Then he briefly wondered if she really wanted this or if she just felt pressured into it. All logical thought stopped when her lips came back to his in desperate supplication. Her hands gripped his back, her arms tightening just as he lifted her off the ground and onto his hips. He looked up at her, pushing one large hand into her auburn hair while the other supported her weight effortlessly. She looked like an angel…and she was his, just as much as he was hers. In moments he was laying her down gently on his bed, making sure his hand was there to support her head as it hit the bed. He climbed the rest of the way over her while his stomach clenched hard in excitement. His body hovered over hers, kissing her deeply to assure her of his complete and utter devotion to her.
Maureen didn’t allow Drew to linger long. In moments she was pushing against his chest gently and he pulled away to look down into those sapphire blue eyes. “I was thinking that…if you were ready, and…well, if you wanted…I love you, Drew…” He smiled gently down at her, a little confused by these stuttered words, but distracted by the way she bit her lower lip before letting it spring back into place. His eyes watched her mouth hungrily before returning to her eyes when she began to speak again. “If you were ready to make love, then…I think I’m ready…” Her smile was anxious, her tiny laugh nervous, and Drew found her shyness adorable. He smiled warmly before leaning down to kiss her again. His kiss was deep, slow and adoring, a kiss one could get lost in. The hand not tangled in the hair beneath her head moved slowly down her side, feeling the bumps of her ribs beneath her shirt and the protrusion of her hip bone and on until it was sliding down her thigh to her knee. He gripped just below her knee, pulling it up just enough so her foot could rest against the bed like its twin.
Drew pulled back just enough to gaze down into Maureen’s eyes, his nose brushing hers as his gaze bore down into her eyes. “I only want to make love if you’re ready.” His hand felt its way back up her thigh, just barely brushing back to smooth over her butt over her soft flannel pajama pants. Though his actions were sensual, his eyes remained set on hers and serious. “I love you, Maureen, and I don’t want to pressure you into anything.” His face was flushed with his desire and it was obvious through his sweats now that he was excited. He kissed her high on her cheekbone, then down beside her mouth, then again at her jaw before he pulled back again and looked down at her. His hand rested on her hip, giving her room to think. “So are you sure?”

Maureen sighed into Drew's lips as they pressed down into hers once more. She felt like an idiot at her weird rant, but he didn't seem to mind at all considering the way his hand slid down her body, caressing her gently. She was completely aware of everything, her senses heightened at the intensity of the moment for her. Chills ran up her spine as his hand moved to her knee, pulling it up as he seemed to nestle between her legs, making her stomach twist again. Her hands were curled around his neck, her fingers in his hair as he touched her and kissed her, but too soon he was pulling his face away to gaze down into her eyes, and all she could do was stare back. She wasn't afraid of this next step, really. Anxious, maybe, but not because she would be sleeping with Drew, but because she would be sleeping with someone who wasn't Simon. She'd only ever been with her ex and it seemed strange to give herself to another man, even if she cared more deeply for him.
“I only want to make love if you’re ready.” Her throat felt dry and her groin tingled with anticipation at his words. His fingers were tickling their way up and again she felt those chills slide over her body, her eyes locked on his lovely, deep greens. “I love you, Maureen, and I don’t want to pressure you into anything.” She could hear he meant it and see it all over his face. His lips placed delicate kisses on her face and her eyes slid closed as her heart hammered a love song meant only for them. “So are you sure?” Maureen slid her deep blue eyes open once more and looked up into Drew's, quiet for a moment as she contemplated her answer. If not now, when? When would be a more perfect time? She wanted this, wanted to feel closer to him than she ever had. He was her past, and now her present.. and she wanted desperately for him to be her future. It was the logical next step.
"I'm sure." Came her sweet whisper of a voice, the fingers at the back of his head pulling him back down to kiss her. Her lips parted and she sighed against his tongue as it caressed her own, her body moving to press up into his as her hold on him grew tighter. She felt his hands on her again and it made her heart race knowing he would finally get to see all of her. It frightened her a little, afraid of what he might think, or if maybe he would feel strange about it since he'd known her as a girl.. Would he still see the scrawny auburn haired child? He hadn't yet, why now? Maureen tried to push those illogical fears away, suddenly glad for the lack of bright light in the room. Her body was a temple that only one other man had been able to see and enter, and she hoped Drew would be the last.
Her fingers moved down his back, gripping the hem of his shirt and pulling it up towards his head. He helped her get it off, and when he moved off her to take it off completely, she stopped him with her hands from coming back down. "I want to see.." She told him, her cheeks flushed deep. She wanted to know every part of Drew. She wanted to memorize him, ever line, every curve, every muscle.. he obeyed her request and moved so she might see his chest. Her eyes danced over his torso, her bottom lip tucked between her teeth as her fingers moved slowly over his pecs. She touched every hard line, somehow made softer by the plush skin he was naturally born with. It was a strange combination, but a beautiful one that excited her. They were blurrs.. and that was incredible. Her other hand moved to his stomach, her palms pressing against the well toned and defined torso. They slid down to his hips and her eyes finally met his again, this time more shyly. "You're like an Adonis." She teased softly, but she meant it. It was if God himself had sculpted him. "You're so beautiful, Drew.." Her eyes narrowed, awe struck by the perfection of the man who seemed to care for her unconditionally.

Maureen hesitated for a moment, but Drew wanted her to think it over. He didn’t want her to ever feel that he had pushed into something she wasn’t ready to do. The man couldn’t bear to think she would resent him for anything. While she thought about it, he studied her eyes, looking for any sign of her answer. In the end he was simply drowned in them. “I’m sure.” His stomach burst with excitement, his heart quickening at her consent. She pulled him down into a kiss and he was all too eager to obey the command of her gentle hands. He kissed her deeply, passionately, one hand gripping her hip while the other remained buried in her soft auburn hair. She was clinging to him tightly and he let out a soft breath through his nose, letting himself fall into his desire for her. As long as she was okay with this, he could give in to what he’d been secretly wanting for months. His hand slid up higher, still over her clothes, but pressing into her stomach and up her side to her ribs. He would be sure to go slow and adore every inch of her. The last thing he wanted was for her to feel like he was using her.
Her hand slid down his back, and his hips dipped down into hers gently. As she pulled the hem of his t-shirt up, though, he pulled back to pull it off the rest of the way over his head. His heart was pounding fiercely as he moved back toward her, ready to fall back into her kisses, but her hands on his chest stopped him from doing so. “I want to see…” Her cheeks were flushed, and so were his as his heart thudded in his chest. The way she stared at him with such shy curiosity, her lip tucked between her teeth as she did so drove him mad. He swallowed hard as her hands smoothed over his torso, admiring him as he wanted to admire her. Her hands were soft, as soft as his own skin, and he was astounded that he’d found his way into the bed of not just the most beautiful woman he’d ever known, but the most beautiful Blurr he’d ever known. That in itself was a rare opportunity. He simply watched her face as she studied him bashfully, the awe in her eyes filling him with need for her. When their eyes met again, he just waited for her to speak, not sure what to say. “You’re like an Adonis.” The statement made him laugh suddenly but softly his hands moving up to run along her arms. “You’re so beautiful, Drew…” She really meant it. The last woman who had said that to him so meaningfully had been out of his life for over a decade and her feelings about him had long since faded away. For a moment he wondered if Maureen’s feelings would fade, but all he could do was hope and pray that they wouldn’t.
Gently he pulled her hands away from his chest, twining his fingers with hers and leaning down over her once more. He drew her hands over her head, simply holding them there and not putting any significant pressure on them. “I love you…” he said softly against her lips, smiling warmly down at her before he kissed her again. His kiss was slow and deep. One hand slipped out of hers, his fingers gliding along her arm until he came to her cheek. He cupped her cheek for a moment, pulling her more into his kiss. It was certain he’d never loved a woman like this before. His hips dipped down into hers while his hand continued its journey down. It just barely brushed over her breast and then over her ribs and stomach. When he reached the hem of her shirt, he pushed his hand upward and under the soft cotton, feeling over her warm skin. She was so soft and it felt like her whole body was flushed with how hot her skin was. His fingers moved slowly over her stomach, reaching higher until he felt the soft protrusion of her ribs. He kissed down her cheek and jaw, dipping into her neck with soft, needy kisses while his fingers climbed higher. Her breast slipped beneath his palm, still covered, but it made his groin jump. They were small breasts, just a handful, but that was all he needed. He wanted to see them.
Reluctantly he pulled away from her neck, sitting up onto his knees and pulling her along with him. His fingers came to the hem of her shirt, tugging up carefully so she wouldn’t be frightened. He could tell how nervous she was, flushed and looking anxiously at him, so he gave a gentle smile in return to assure her it would be okay. She helped him breeze her shirt over her head and for the first time he could really see her pale skin, looking as soft as it felt. She was so petite and delicate looking, like she could break and he felt more compelled than ever to keep her in his arms. At least there he knew he could keep her safe. He cupped her face again, drawing her into another passionate kiss. His fingers slid into her hair, adoring her patiently. Hardly an inch of her would be unexplored by his hands if he could help it. Drew’s face pulled back just enough so his forehead could rest against hers, opening his eyes halfway so he could look into her face. “Are you okay?” he asked softly, giving her a moment to catch her breath if she needed it. If he had waited patiently up until this point, he could continue to do so all night.

Her sapphires were glued to his jades as he gently pulled her hands from his chest, twining their fingers together before sliding them over her head. It was sensual, and she didn't feel trapped by him at all; if anything she felt more protected with him leaning over her that way. “I love you…” Though he'd said it several times already, she hadn't come close to tiring of hearing it. Her heart lurched in her chest and she graciously accepted his kiss, groaning softly into his lips as he moved his own against her with pure passion. Drew's hand slid down to her cheek, cupping it and she found her free hand coming up into his hair, coming through the short, dark strands with almost desperation. He was lighting a fire in her belly that was spreading throughout her, and she knew the only way to extinguish it was to have him completely, to make their bodies one and somehow stake her claim over him.
Maureen groaned again into Drew's lips as his hips pressed into hers, and all she could do was arch her back to bring herself even closer to him. She was very aware of the hand creeping down her body between them and then snaking between her shirt, and all she could think was how much she wanted to feel his hands all over her, loving and adoring her in ways a man hadn't in a long time. Her fear was ebbing away the more into it they got, and with every inch north his hand moved under her shirt, she wanted him more. Maureen panted lightly as Drew released her mouth, his kisses trailing over her jaw and down into her neck. Her head moved instinctively to the side to allow him access, her body pushing up into his once more as his hand found the small mound on her chest. A quiet moan trailed from her plump lips before she blushed and bit the bottom one in order to try and contain herself.
When Drew pulled away her eyes followed him, a panting, disheveled ball of nerves lying on the bed haphazardly. He was pulling her up with him and her eyes never left his, her body obeying the silent plea. When his fingers found the hem of her shirt she blushed deeply, nervous though she wanted him to see. Her arms lifted so he could pull her shirt over her head, and she reminded herself she had nothing to be ashamed of. She loved Drew, and Drew loved her. He would like what he saw, because it wasn't her body he was interested in, but her heart. Maureen didn't really have issues with her body, but she still rarely showed it off, but with Drew it was different. She hoped he liked her.. hoped her body might excite him as much as her heart did. Drew's eyes moved down and she held her chin up confidently, allowing him to admire her as he had allowed her to moments before. Finally his gaze came back to hers, and his mouth followed suit. She sighed into his mouth, her hands finding their way to his cheeks, cupping his face gently. He moved back, his forehead staying on hers though his mouth moved away and his eyes gazing into hers once more. “Are you okay?” he asked softly, and she gave a bashful smiled before nodding. "I'm very okay." She offered, kissing him again briefly before pulling away further than he did. Maureen bit her bottom lip, her cheeks flushing deep red as her hands slipped from his cheek and slowly moved behind her back. She reached up, her fingers easily finding the clasp of her bra, and in a swift motion it was undone. The cups lay loosely at her chest and with her bashful eyes on Drew, she slid her left arm out and then the right from the piece of fabric keeping her covered from him. The bra fell to the bed in a heap before them and she gave Drew an anxious sort of look, reaching for his hand as her body moved to press towards his again. Maureen pressed her lips tight to Drew's, lifting his hand and placing it on her chest. "I trust you.." She whispered into his lips, her body arching into his and silently giving him permission to move forward.

Maureen pulled back and gave Drew a look that made him grin wider with mischief. She was trying to be intimidating, but Maureen could never pull that off, Drew was certain of it. “How can I kiss you properly when you’re being so silly!” He laughed at her playful scolding. His hand swept through her long auburn hair again as it pooled over her shoulders and onto his. She folded her arms on his chest while his free hand settled low on her back and slid up over her spine. Had he ever felt so incredibly content? He was certain now that he couldn’t let Maureen go…ever. “I know this sounds crazy, but I think things were meant to be this way.” Drew gave her a curious look, but smiled at the same time. Meant to be, huh? He could agree with that. “If I had been here all the time, you and I would be like you and Maxi, wouldn’t we? We’d be best friends…but that’s all.” He gazed gently into her eyes, almost sadly, his fingers pushing slowly through her long strands. “Maybe…I don’t know.” Maureen now swept her fingers through his hair, gazing down at him so adoringly. He wanted to think he would have felt this way about her if she hadn’t gone missing for twenty-five years, but part of him doubted that. “Distance makes the heart grow fonder, and I think my heart’s very fond of you.” Drew now smiled from ear to ear, cupping her cheek with the hand in her hair. Yes…their distance for all those years probably had something to do with loving her. “And mine’s very fond of you,” he teased back playfully. But even though the distance was partly to thank for bringing them together like this, Drew now found he hated it. He didn’t want to leave Maureen again…
“Maybe we’re meant to have dozens of babies together and be old fart together drinking Arnold Palmers on the porch in our rocking chairs as the sun sets. After you cure me of my fear of traveling and tour me around the world, of course.” He laughed wrapping both arms tightly around her, pulling her closer against him. When he looked back into her eyes, his own were twinkling with warmth and amusement. “That sounds like a great plan. We could start the tour in England and Jamie can show us around London. Then we’ll discover Scotland and Ireland before we move into France and the rest of the European continent. We’ll visit every major city on the way to Moscow. Then we can go to Africa and go on as many safaris as you want. Last stop will be Asia and we’ll see every city you want. Then we can stop in Hawaii before we come home, maybe get started on those babies.” He grinned and leaned up, kissing her softly on the lips. “Of course, I am factoring an unlimited budget here.” The words were spoken playfully against her lips before he kissed her again through his smile. Even though it was a joke, a tease, Drew actually liked the sound of traveling with her, having children with her and growing old with her. He could think of no better way to spend the rest of his life.
When he pulled back, he looked into her eyes for a long moment, running his hands slowly along her graceful back. The way she fit against him was perfect, like they really were always meant to be together like this. As a young man he would never have expected Maureen to be the one for him, but now he couldn’t see it any other way. He loved her so much. “Maybe…maybe I’ll start really looking for a job up here.” His cheeks flushed a little, but he smiled a little anxiously at Maureen. “Then I could be closer…I could see you more often.” Remembering Simon suddenly, he felt a little panicked at the possible implications of his statement. “Not that I don’t trust you or anything!” he added hastily, his green eyes wider than usual. “I just…I just want to be able to see you all the time. Not that I’m suggesting we move in together, just…I could live in Friday Harbor too.” His smile was more anxious now, his brow slightly furrowed at his own stumbling. Was he going to come off too strong for having just professed his love and making love to her? He didn’t want to seem desperate or clingy…He hoped Maureen would be happy at the suggestion.

Then we can stop in Hawaii before we come home, maybe get started on those babies.” Her smile grew with every word he said until she buried her face in his chest and erupted with soft laughter. It sounded amazing and silly, something she knew they would never really do, but it was fun to joke about. She looked up and her eyes showed the warmth she felt towards this incredibly amazing man who happened to adore her completely. He leaned up and kissed her lips, his own softly moving against hers and it melted her once more. “Of course, I am factoring an unlimited budget here.” She nodded, trying to look serious as she said "Of course." Her serious face didn't last long as she cracked a smile once more, just as her boyfriend kissed her again, their mouth both upturned in smiles. When he finally pulled away, Maureen let out a long, content sigh, His fingers trailed over her back made a chill run through her in a good way and she grinned softly at him. “Maybe…maybe I’ll start really looking for a job up here.” Her face turned serious at his words, her brows rising at the suggestion. He would do that? He would actually leave everything he knew and loved to be with her? His cheeks flushed and all she could do was watch to make sure she had heard him correctly. “Then I could be closer…I could see you more often. Not that I don’t trust you or anything!” The last part was blurted out quickly and her lips quirked up at the side. How did trust play into any of this? “I just…I just want to be able to see you all the time. Not that I’m suggesting we move in together, just…I could live in Friday Harbor too.”Drew was suddenly the nervous man she had met so many months ago and it was hard not to find it all endearing. It suddenly hit her that he thought she might think he was watching her closely because Simon was back and her smile grew sweet once more. "I would love if you moved here." Her voice was so deeply genuine. She cupped his cheek, leaning in to kiss him gently, but her lips began to move harder against his, her tongue flicking out to taste his once more. Her arms curled down around his neck and she pulled her lips from his to embrace him, her face nuzzling into his neck. "Thank you.. this means the world to me." She whispered in his ear, suddenly excited that he would try and be closer. She wondered if it was too soon to have him move in. If he didn't she would find a place that did month to month, because even Maureen wasn't naive enough to know that they wouldn't be spending most nights together. "I love you so much." She cooed softly, pulling back and kissing him again. This was the best night she could remember ever having. --------------------------END--------------------------
