He promised he would call and that he had no questions. It looked as though their business for the evening was over. Cadence nodded when he told her he would call when he had questions, and she understood him not wanting to get into all the gory details now. He'd been locked away, completely awake since the night of the masquerade. Exhaustion probably didn't even come close to what he was feeling now. "Until we meet again then, Sebastian." She said before he left her car. She stayed parked where she was, watching him move to the house he apparently found safe. Now she knew where to find him if he failed to make good on his promise, or at least where she could find someone who would give him away. Cadence sat in her car for another moment silently, thinking about everything. She had just set Snow's captive free. If he found out... she didn't want to think about that. He wouldn't find out, and he wouldn't suspect her either. She did what he asked without questions or complaint. She had since day one. She was the model secretary, even going so far as to dress the way he wanted her and pleasing him in ways that weren't necessary. He couldn't know. He'd never let on for a moment he knew she was anything but the quiet, fearless girl she had portrayed herself as. She drove off, unsure what to do with herself now. Maybe she would try to sleep, or maybe she would go out to the Silent Stone and give herself an alibi. Be around the rest of the miserables. THREAD COMPLETE
